  1. I have a tendency to buy for women soldiers. They sort of get left out more often. So, I'll send a box of different sized tampons, panty liners, pads, shampoo and conditioner, tweezers, magazines, and whatever else I think that they could use.
  2. I had no such luck finding the cb's today..but I did score with some really discounted clothes and boots for dd! LOL ( I should know better than to go anywhere near the toddler clothes and shoes )
  3. Here are a few links to help out soldiers... http://www.operationnoblefoster.org/ http://www.operationshoebox.com/ www.anysoldier.us
  4. That'd be great if I could come across those cb's at one of the walmarts here and also see what that 4 post bed thing is too! LOL I wouldn't have to go to Walmart at all!! LOL
  5. Same here with the cabbage patch..if they do, then I'll hit the px instead of walmart. I really don't see too much and I know there'll be a line at the px..but then again, lol, if I get to walmart I won't have to wait outside and then I can swing by Sears and get the $10 gc there!!! Argh..decisions decisions!!!
  6. Thanks Brandy and Brad..I'll be looking for the ad! :)
  7. I've also seen them at Walmart and Sams Club for about $100'ish.
  8. The childrens place online sells PJs for the whole family Are they listed yet? A couple of weeks ago when I got the email telling me that they sold them online, they didn't! LOL I just haven't gone back to check the prices!!!! At Disney, it'll cost $90 for 2 adults and 1 child..which is too hefty for me!
  9. Does it list Peterson AFB or Fort Carson on the list? I think we may be in the same region?!.
  10. I go to Midnight Mass...maybe if that's not an option, you go to the evening service at your church instead of the morning service?
  11. I got my stockings for dh, dd, and me at Walmart. I got the nice plush ones when they hit clearance before dd was born. Then I used glue and some glitter and put names on the stockings. It was something fun for me to do and it may not look THE BEST, but it's homey! :)
  12. I really like Gymboree but can only afford it when it's hit at LEAST 50% off and then most times I get it for more % off than that. Like a few weeks ago, I got dd slippers with matching pj's for this winter, swimsuit cover up for next summer and a sweater/shawl combo, socks for 4th of July and a few other small things but I only paid $26 or so for it all. LOL Even on ebay some of the cute stuff sells for too much..2T is a popular size! LOL
  13. I was planning on going out to Kohl's then to the Veteran's parade downtown, but when I got up there was a trace of snow and I didn't feel like rolling out of bed that early! LOL So, I got to "sleep in"..til 8am!
  14. Hubby always gets mad at me because I can never decide on what I want. I have a tendancy to buy what I want, when I want it..tried telling dh this last night! LOL But he still insists in buying me stuff for the surprise. Last year he did really well with a nice watch and alot of smell good stuff. I don't think that he would actually hand me money, if he did, I wouldn't be upset...I'd probably go buy something for dd! LOL
  15. This is a great time of the year for Bath and Body! LOL I love when they start sending out their coupons..it makes it so much easier to shop! :)
  16. Ok, I think I found a link for it...hope this helps somebody with their Christmas shopping! http://a676.g.akamaitech.net/f/676/773/90m/images.m0.net/catcontent/bbw/200511lipshine/hostedinhouse.html?d=fffaf9f4ddc8928b95c3c0dff3a7bcb1cbd4c7d5cef484a3b2f1dcd2f3fde3a7bba4abf1f5e2e7e7fcc0c8928e95d3d8dbf7a7baa689898b8488a18aa0a0af9fde3a2e21390d091e14191c230e322b2d6f4d4f59434f7b4e666169&a=4197
  17. I have a new Bath and Body Works coupon that I got in email, so I don't know how to post it. But if anybody wants it, let me know and I can email it to them..either pm your email addy or put it in the thread! Sorry, this is a pain in the arse! It's for a free Tutti Dolci Lip Gloss or C.O. Bigelow Lip Product free with any purchase! It has a coupon for you and one for a friend..so you can get 2 free things if you take your spouse! LOL
  18. Yeah, growing up I used to have a cat that was tiger striped and very dainty. Each year, she would climb up the tree, while we were all in the same room and never knew it and when you'd walk by the tree to use the restroom, she would bat at you! LOL She always reminded me of a gremlin in the tree!! LOL But yeah, I saw that site last year and book marked it, it's great!!!!
  19. Same here! That's one of my all time favorite holiday movies! I love it when ole boy gets his tongue stuck to the pole! LMAO I've had that happen on a popcicle!
  20. For anybody who has a cat, this is a must read for Christmas tree's!!! http://www.fluffytails.ca/christmas.asp This is hilarious!!!!
  21. Elena, try ebay!!! Type in Christmas Dresses or Pageant. I've seen a few listed that were adorable but either they weren't the right size or color! Grr But I love dd in short Aline type dresses, like Shirley Temple...so girly! :)
  22. I've been looking for that "perfect" dress for dd. I like the Santa type dresses but I haven't found one that I really like. But when dh gets home just before Christmas, we're going in for family shots in pajamas..if I can find matching sets for all of us! Argh!

    Recipes?!?!

I haven't had divinity since I was kid. My gma, when she would actually cook or bake would make a few things and divinity was one of them..ahh, the memories!
  24. I outline my little yard with white lights and make a big square. It usually snows alot around Christmas time and the lights melt the snow and it looks really neat!! Then I put blue and white lights in my doorway. I also have large candy canes lining the walk way. I have a window light that I put up in dd's room that says "Santa stop here" and is in the shape of a stop sign. Front window and my bedroom window have blue and white lights in the window frame. I'm thinking that if I can find a blowup that I like alot at a good price, I may get one to stick in the center of my yard! LOL I do blue and white with some silver on my tree..the only color is the cutesy ornaments I have! :)
  25. Usually, a friend or coworker will decide to have a party and call it a cookie exchange. On the invite, you're asked to bring anywhere from 4-8 dozen cookies..depending on how many people are there. Then you also bring enough recipes for everybody to take home with them. It's quite fun because you get to try everybody else's cookies and get their recipe. Some people make it a big who-ha every year as to where others do it just to have a couple of friends over and a buttload of cookies! LOL Some may even require a dress code!
