  1. I've only sold a few things so far but it's been pretty easy for me. It takes maybe 5 minutes to list an item and then you're good to go. Some of the rates are questionable but if you start an item out at $.99 with a reserve or a buy it now price, it's better than to have a higher starting item (costs much less) and if you accept paypal, make sure you state that you can only take existing funds or bank transfer so you don't have to pay the paypal fee on top of a ebay fee! LOL That's what I've learned so far!!!
  2. Thankfully I don't go to Best Buy but I saw super target last year, and that parking lot was horrible. I always go for the 1st spot I see, even if it's at the back of the lot..it's just not worth my blood pressure rising to get closer to the door! LOL
  3. If it's something affordable for me to buy multiples of and know that I'll at least make my money back and then some, I'd be up for it. But I've never done that, I just started selling on ebay this year! LOL
  4. I love that sandwhich maker I got last year! LOL With a toddler around, it's easier for me to make her lunch with that than to bring out a pan and go that route! LOL I'll have to try making the pizza pocket trick Tracy!!!
  5. I agree!!! I shop for alot of things that I wouldn't want to pay full price for throughout the year and everybody's Christmas gifts I think mostly toys and kitchen gadgets!! LOL
  6. I haven't figured out how to control it yet! LOL Between bf and hubby coming home around that time frame, I'm about ready to explode!! LOL

    Weather?

I had no waiting last year, thankfully! LOL But it wasn't cold, I only wore sweatpants/shirt and was fine. I think it may have rained a bit and was a little windy, but nothing major!
  8. As far as I know, tru hasn't been a pm'ing store..could be wrong. I don't recall Target ever doing it neither. But Walmart still does it!
  9. I got that dd's room and it works really well and I also got a different no name dvd players elsewhere for my room and it's worked well too. I personally haven't gotten burnt by the no name stuff but I'm always sort of worried about buying it!
  10. Thanks for breaking it down PhaserBait..I think I understand it! LOL But I won't be paying that much for a system unless hubby demands it and I don't think that he even knows about it..yet! LOL
  11. The price is $300 or $400, depending on which version you want. Wow! LOL Guess it'll be a couple of years before it makes it into my place! We have a ps2 and gamecube which is plenty anyways! LOL
  12. What's the price range going to be on the 360 and what's the difference between it and the older version?
  13. I for the most part go alone and meet up with hubby, but I'll talk to whoever if they aren't shooting me the "don't talk to me and distract me" look! LOL But I've never really waited in line for more than a couple of minutes before!
  14. This is my 13th bf, kinda eery being 13 and friday..anyways, I remember some sort of shopping rush in the house after turkey day but don't really remember calling it bf until the last few years?!. I'm of a lot of help! LOL
  15. Ugg..lmao..I posted on this yesterday or the day before! I'm hooked on qvc and hsn but I like qvc much better!! Aw, and my favorite host is on LOL
  16. Older kids, maybe, but my kids haven't asked for anything like that. They are still all about the toys! (They turn 2, 4, and 6 this fall/winter) Man, if my dd asked me for anything other than a doll, ball, or tree..I may get worried! (She's only 19 months today) LOL
  17. Wow, it's sad for the reasoning, but good that everybody will be able to get a "deal".
  18. I leave around 6'ish and then get home around 9'ish. I only stop into a few stores myself..hubby hits the electronics normally, so none of that unless it's at walmart, tru or target! LOL

    Cut in line...

I really don't know too many people here. But I do know one gal that tries to cut infront of me when she see's me standing in line for other things..it's happened twice at caselot sales at the commissary! Pissed me off, but I'm too polite to "friends".

    How many...

makeup transforms me into an entirely different person they say. ( I used to be a Mary Kay consultant, so I am pretty good at applying it.) I've been told that too!! LOL I used to do makeup at Glamour Shots. I hate wearing it but will if need be!

    How many...

women here get all dressed to impress (just in case for the news or whatever reason) or do ya'll just outta bed? I'll be in between, no make up but I'll at LEAST change my clothes before I head out!
  22. As far as I know, Target does not price match.
  23. I decided that after last year, that I shouldn't wrap my dd or hubby's gifts until shortly before. I forget what I buy for them! LOL But with everybody else, I wrap right away as it gets sent out of state within a couple of days of being purchased, so they have it under their tree in time for Christmas!
  24. I went to Walmart and then ToysRUs and then met up with hubby at Super Target and followed up back at Sears (his 1st stop) to pick up a TV. He also went to Best Buy and I think another computer type store..can't remember now?!. LOL Then we went to Kmart and headed to lunch!

    BF Pet Peeves

You're childs safety is worth more that a half priced item. And if you think otherwise, then get some therapy.. I cant stand parents bringing out little babies and small children.RIDICULOUS. They dont belong there. AND YES..YOU DO have a choice. Whats that choice? NOT GO! Ok, because I have a child means that I shouldn't be able to buy things at a fraction of a cost for gifts? Um, that sounds a bit harsh to me. My child walks and won't be walking around..that's when she could actually get hurt! I will carry her or put her in the cart. I'm not going to trust some 13 year to babysit my child and being military, means that 90% of the time you are nowhere near family to get their help! I'm not going to Seattle or to Atlanta for a babysitter! I also don't camp out at 3am in the freezing cold, my first stop is almost always Walmart and there are 6 of them here to choose from and all of which are open 24 hours a day, so no waiting in lines! *Blah*
