Ouch, such criticism! I honestly think that if I were you, and you know that it could be afforded without suffering later on, to put it all on a credit card and pay it off asap! I know last year for our local walmarts, that they wouldn't even let the customers see them until turkey day! I went into the garden section and a young gal was working and I tried getting her to show me the ad and then her boss came by! Argh! LOL

I usually don't stop shopping. If I get too much for dd or dh for Christmas, it gets stashed in their Birthday pile! LOL If I can find a good deal, I'm going for it!

I did it a couple of times when I was in middle school! One time with my church group, we went and sang at a nursing home and stopped at each room and sang. I bawled! LOL I'm too sensitive for that stuff but it made me feel good. I like going to one of the bigger malls in Denver, they have the walking singers around the mall in the old time clothing! It's neat!!

Hmm, hubby asked for a handheld GPS and gun cleaning kit this year. But I always get him some clothes to go with it, especially undies and socks, he wears them out quickly! LOL I'm the hard one to shop for!!!

I got a beautiful tree last year from Walmart but it died early on and I didn't get it til like the 18th of Dec! Grr I think I paid $25. I'm just going with a fake tree this year if I put one up, but I love the way a new one smells!

Dang, that was smart! LOL I might do that next year if dh will take care of dd. That'd look sort of odd, me digging thru the trash with a toddler! LOL Somebody might feel sorry for me!

Was it 1 BB buck per SASE? Did you also get some of the $3 pieces or were they all $1 pieces? LOL I'm trying to see if it's worth it for next year, if things don't change. Man, that's alot of stamps that some of ya'll used up..not too mention envelopes and patience! LOL

I do that only because I forget to put tags on things right away then I end up forgetting who the gift was originally for! LOL So, each person gets their own wrapping paper!

Last year dh's car got pretty packed. When I met up with him, I realized that he did a pretty good job on packing the van! LOL So, once we combined everything, the van was almost full in the back. It was dd's 1st Christmas so I went way overboard! LOL

Yes! Kmart for the past 2 years has been going crazy with the old characters! Alot of Kris Kringle (sp?), Rudolph, the guy that tells the story and Frosty was left last year after Christmas.

Yup, The Night Before Christmas is my favorite book. I had a friend make dd the book out of fabric last year and then I had a heck of a time finding the actual book! LOL

The leapfrog cube thing is good also. It can be found at Babies R Us for sure, a bit spendy, but has alot of activities. Dd has the Little Touch leappad and she likes it, she gets a bit rough with it sometimes which can tear a page but it's still a good buy if it's marked down for bf! I can't think of much else..oh, the aqua doodle looks really neat too!

I may pop in there, I love their bra's and if they'll be marked down on bf, I'm all over it! LOL

My tree has white and blue lights with blue and silver balls and silver tinsel. I think it's so pretty that way! :)

I have a ps2 and a gamecube for dh and me! I prefer the gamecube, it doesn't make me as motion sick and I like the simple games but dh likes the ps2 better for the sports games and the shoot em down types of games.
