Well I stopped in last night...nothing in the store under $15, but there were several styles of earrings for 16-20. Also, umbrellas were 18 I think.

Target clearance, How low will it go?
fairydustcrissy replied to angel-too's topic in Offline Hot Deals
If the item was the only one left in teh store, that could explain why it never got marked down. I have noticed that the items have to be scanned into the handhelds in order for the price to be changed. School supplies for instance. When I was shopping, the lady informed me that if I found something she had not gotten to yet, to let her know & she could fix it. Of course, I had to see if it would ring up 50 or 75% off before she scanned it. 50% off. So if there isnt another of an item in the store & employees dont see it, that could explain why it doesnt go down any farther. -
You have to understand thier perspective tho. I'd be willing to bet that a mojority of GCs issued are for $4 scripts. Which means they LOSE $6 for every one filled. And thats on a Target offer. If its another store that offers say $25, well then they are really losing money.

XBOX 360 or Playstation 3????
fairydustcrissy replied to Dena Neal's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Mine has never had issue, but many have seen the red ring of death. Because it is such a widespread issue, MS has extended the warranty from 1yr to 3yrs. so even if you did have issues, it should be covered. -
Premium outlets do this as well. And it is chaos! But so fun :)

Ok Veterans, tell us of Black Fridays of the 80's and 90's...

Cookie tins, snowglobes, goody bags at Target...ah the good ole days. One year Macy's did fortune cookies with a GC amount in them. I got $50! Yippie! I miss all that stuff. Now its all about electronics, which I usually cant afford lol. But i still get out there every year! -

I just wanted to add for anyone who wants an HDTV on a budget...We got a 30" widescreen HDTV tube tv from BB. We absolutely LOVE it. We paid around $250 for it. It is still available in-store, but not online. I have a feeling these will be super cheap on BF just because its an older model. If this is the case, we may pick up another. We have been VERY pleasesd with the TV so far. We've had it since Feb. of this year. Not a single issue, pic looks great, and very easy to navigate the controls. For the price, its really a great TV. -
XBOX 360 or Playstation 3????
fairydustcrissy replied to Dena Neal's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
We have a Wii & a 360. We love both. But if the Wii is not an option for you, I'd definately say the 360. Not only is it WAAAAY cheaper, you can get most of the same games, and as another poster said, ome games actually run BETTER on the 360. -
How old are your kids that are getting these? My DS will be 3 in 2 weeks, and he has lost interest in these type toys. We have tons of teh Spider Man & friends, as well as the Marvel ones. He used to LOVE them, but it seems the only thing that will keep his attention these days are cars & trucks lol.
