Hi I am looking for a wooden train track set for my DS3 for Christmas. He has a very basic Brio starter set, and he absolutely LOVES it. I need a set that is Brio compatable. The prices are sooo high! Especially the Thomas stuff. Anyone know a good place, either online or B&M, to get wooden tracks? Even if its just the assortment sets, thats fine too! Thanks!

What they said lol. The lite is much thinner, a little lighter, and has a much better screen. For a young child, go with the DS unless it will be played in sunlight alot. If it is, then I reccoment the lite for the better backlight.

Hubby is a Blockbuster mgr. THe coupon is FAKE. Every one is supposed to have a diff # on it, and these dont. They are indeed sent to some customers, but like I said they have unique #s on them. The one going around is absolutely a fake. Someone sent out a copy of thier coupon. It is a one time use code. He said he sees about 10 of these a day.

We are the proud owner of 3 (almost 4, for Christmas) DS's. I have one, hubby has one, and DD8 has one. DD6 is getting one from Santa. The game library is ooooo huge, since it plays GBA games as well. My oldest is big into Pokemon, so it was a no-brainer for us lol.

I 100% agree with the leapster. We have the 1st edition that came out, and it still works great. It is on its 3rd kit at the moment, and all 3 play with it still. My kids LOVE the games, and like PP said...tehy can take a licking for sure. Best $100 I ever spent on a game (yes...they were that much when they came out lol).

There are several diff tracks now. There is a CARS track, the crash sounds track, and another one that is just a regular track. My son has some cars but no track. But he really wants the CARS track.

the wooden train stuff i've seen so far is actually priced good. The reg. price is just that...the normal prices I see everywhere. So the sale prices are pretty good. Im looking for a wooden set to expand my sons BRIO set. So if anyone has any suggestions, Im open!

I agree about the ginger suggestion. If you are afraid you will get sick, take some candied ginger or ginger cookies with you. THey also make ginger lollipops. THey are marketed to pregnant women for morning sickness, but they are great. Also, sucking on any type of hard candy will help to calm your stomach. And the greatest thing I have found for upset stomach is called Bonine. Its for motion sickness, but when I had the flu my mom brought it to me and it worked wonders. I rtelaxes the stomach muscles. I dont work a retail job, but I am a SAHM. I dont sleep at all Thursday, and I shop till hubby has to go to work on friday, THen I go home & take care of my 3 kids. I get to bed when hubby gets home, around 1am. I am usually pretty run down by then. So I feel ya lol.

hmmm... i never sleep, but I need very little sleep in general. Since you are one who needs sleep, thats a tough call. Since you cant do caffiene, what about sugar? OK, if some ads say limit 2 and some say limit 3, 99% of the time the higher limit is nationwide. So...you should be able to go back and purchase the $17.xx worth of batteries and get your 2nd $10 ECB. If it doesnt print, show tehm the ad that says limit 2 per card. Also, on your reciept, it will say either *Limit reached, or * Purchase XX more to qualify. If it does say limit reached, chances are it wont print again for you.

The $10 GC CAN be stacked with another coupon...the cashier even told me as she handed it to me. THe $10 off $30 cant...but the GC can.

Get it while you can is what the tags say just before they start marking down. So more than likely it will go 15-20% off, then 30, 50, and 75%. I have seen some stores use ALL of those markdowns, and some use only a few. So oit really depends on your store as to how fast it will get marked down. THat tag basically mean...this item is going to be clearanced very soon :)
