  1. I also love Gander Mtn. I got some great deals last year on BF. I can't wait for the ad.
  2. Thanks for this. I will make sure I wear it to Walmart, Kmart and Sears on BF.
  3. I live in the country and all the trees are locally cut. I buy mine from the Boy Scouts for about $25.00.
  4. My daughter really wants this too. I found it at Walmart for 29.99 but the TRU coupon I can get it there cheaper. Thanks for reminding me of the coupon. I have read reviews on it also. I have found that it got really good reviews for the most part.
  5. Sooo excited to see another ad. I have seen better from Staples though.
  6. I am going to try to buy my TRU stuff on Thanksgiving. Hope it works so I can skip that store on BF.
  7. I wish I got a new ad every week from TRU. I never get ads from that store in my Sunday paper.
  8. I have been there. I noticed more board games than I had ever seen before and lots of small kitchen appliances. I forgot to look in electronics tho
  9. I found out there was no Santa when I was in 2nd grade. I went into my parents room for something and found presents wrapped on the bed. The tags read to Tina from Santa. Once I found out, I turned into one of those snoopy kids. Every year from then on, while I lived at home, I snooped for Christmas. But of course I pretended to believe for quite awhile after that.
  10. I don't have anything strange on my list, but my father does. He tells me he will be getting my DH and FIL a "hunk of" Kielbasa.
  11. Was this the only thing you didn't like about this system? How was the picture and the sound? What about how it performed?
  12. If anyone out there has the Coconuts BF ad, please submit. I love this store and I thought they had a good sale last year. Thanks in hopeful advance.
  13. If I go to Binghamton it about an hour. If I go to Scranton, about an hour and 10 m.
  14. I just went back in today to see if shipping date has been updated. I ordered it and it said it will be delivered on Nov. 14 or 15. So get ordering before they run out again. This is a great deal.
  15. The only problem with this one is that it won't ship until Jan. 9th. I went on and bought it and then noticed the estimated ship date. I cancelled my order.
  16. I have to agree. This sale does not impress me, but I am not shopping for tvs. I rarely shop BB as in my opinion they are priced higher than most competing stores. Maybe, if this ad is a partial ad, there will be more deals to be had.
  17. No big deal. As a matter of fact, Walmart has most of the toys cheaper right now.
  18. I like multi colored flashing. My DH also hates the flash. Nobody cares. Mine are always flashing anyway.
  19. My daughter loves her leapster. Worth the money.
  20. I agree. My daughter loved to dress up in the disney clothes. She also loved all those little plastic heels. She would dress up and go outside to catch frogs. And I had to beg her not to wear the shoes to the store. Oh how I wish she was that age again. She is 7 now.
  21. I thought it might be nice to share some Christmas recipies. So, if you could only pick one Christmas recipie as your best, what is it and how is it made. Everyone loves my pumpkin pie. It is nothing I made up myself, it is simply the recipie I got off of the back of a One Pie can of pumpkin. Here it is... New England Pumpkin Pie 1 can pumpkin 1 T cornstarch 1/2 t cinnamon 1/2 t nutmeg 1/2 t ginger 1/2 t salt 1 1/2 T butter(melted) 1 1/2 C milk (yes, milk) 1 C sugar 1/8 C molasses 2 eggs Sift sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg together. Mix this with contents of one can pumpkin. Add eggs, beaten, melted butter, molasses and milk. Add a dash of lemon juice (if desired). Line a 9- inch pie plate, pour in contents. Preheat oven and bake at 450 for 15 minutes. Then reduce temperature to 350 and continue to bake for 50 minutes. *I always add an extra pinch of spices for a tad bit spicer pie.*
