I just went to Kohls today and bought myself some new clothes. I was tired of looking like a ragamuffin. They had great deals and I got a $30 kohls certificate.

I went to WM today to see if I could get the Poloroid portable dvd player they have advertised on thier website. They had it in stock but the price was about $50 more. I told the clerk that it was much cheaper on the WM website and he said that the website is often cheaper than the store. I don't want to pay shipping. Does anyone know if they price match the WM website? And if so, how would I go about showing them what the web has it listed for?

I have three kids- 19,15,7. We spend about $300 per kid. I don't worry about the amount of gifts each have because the older two want more expensive things and they are old enough to realize that.

Bought myself a new phone. Hooked it up as soon as I got home.

Sears, even though what I wanted was no longer available they were able to order one thing and substituted another. Also, TRU was great because I was in and out in under 15 min. Needed two things and found a girl that guided me right to them. She was great.

Vestal, NY had 100 of them. It was very orderly with a single line and tickets handed out as people stepped in line.

The TRU link for the electric guitar goes to the item but they have actually raised the price since earlier this afternoon. I haven't seen it at the BF price yet. Am I doing something wrong?

I went to CC today to find out about the Sirius radio FAR. First he showed me what they had on display. I told him nope not it. Then he took me to the BF radio and told me all about it and tried to sell me the boombox too. They had a whole bunch of radios and said they won't be handing out tickets for those but I would have to dodge lines for the other stuff.

The stuff I want isn't on the list yet either. Hope it is by Thanksgiving so I can skip that store on BF.

I agree with fairydustcrissy. I will not be standing in line tonight because I won't pay that price and I don't want one. It's not about thinking ahead it's about common courtesy for all the people waiting in line behind you. It's also about what goes around, comes around.

The only person I tip is the garbage guy. He's great at not checking my recyclables (sp??) to make sure they are clean enough. But other than that, I agree that tipping everyone you hire to do a job is already getting paid. I work too. Most of us work. I don't expect to get a tip to do the job I was hired to do.

Well, I was out shopping all day and when I got home of course the first thing I did was check out this site. I noticed that Office Depot's ad was missing and a note that said not to go there on BF. What the heck happened while I was gone today?

Thanks for everyones help. I may even wait until closer to Christmas to buy one. There may be better offers as it gets closer to the "big day".
