  1. Thanks!! DH was just saying he wanted this for Christmas :)
  2. I ended up calling the number listed by the error message and it went through fine (the CSR did say they've been having website issues off and on all week) - (6) of the spiral trees after the $5 off discount came to $10.93! Thanks OP!! :)
  3. All of my items shipped. When I went back in, they had added a few more things, so I placed my 2nd order today.
  4. Thanks so much!! I got: Jacket, (6) shirts, (3) pants, pants set, cutting board, watch, hat, necklace, and (2) pairs of shoes ... retail value $951, but with the sale and 50%, I paid just under $150!! :D
  5. Darn - had it in my cart and while I was getting a few other things, it was "moved" out!
  6. As soon as I walk in the door, I put on Christmas music and take a nap. When I wake up, I eat leftovers and watch some TV. Then, I start wrapping!
  7. DD just mentioned that she wanted these, so I went ahead and placed my order - they'll be great for her stocking! Thanks OP :)
  8. Thanks - got a set, but it does show shipping estimate is 4-6 weeks? Hopefully, these won't get cancelled.
  9. Thanks! DD played with this forever last year when we were in a toy store, but I had sticker shock and didn't get it. Looks like a great deal - I added a $1 paper doll to get the free shipping - thanks!
  10. I usually scan the hard ads after Thanksgiving lunch at my Grandma's house with my mom, sister-in-law, aunt, and cousins. When I get home, I make any tweaks to my list on GD and then print it out and put it in my wristlet (otherwise, I'll never remember to do this on Fri morning!). If I follow the same gameplan as last year, I'll bring DD to my MIL's house that night and then spend the night with my mom since dad and DH will be hunting anyway. We usually watch chick flicks til about 11 then turn in. I wake up at 3, make some coffee, drink 1 cup and pour another into my thermal mug. Dressed and out the door by 3:30-4 on our way to Wal-Mart.
  11. Usually Wal-Mart since it's 24 hrs and I don't have to stand outside!
  12. Not as long as alot of y'all . I'm usually done by 11AM, so about 7 hours in all.
  13. My favorite moments were: 1. Getting everything on my list 2. Being able to check-out through the self check-out lanes in Wal-Mart and there was even an associate who stood by and did the price overrides on my matched items. It's probably the only time I checked out in less than 15 minutes on BF! Let's hope for a repeat on that this year.
  14. This will be my 9th BF and my 3rd using GD
  15. I don't usually go for any of the door busters, so I probably get to Wal-Mart (usually my 1st stop since it's 24 hr) at around 4-4:30AM. Last year, I think, I was done before lunch and got everything on my list.
  16. I take a wristlet that has my cell phone, key fob for my car/house key, credit card and debit card, and my list that I print off the BF site. I love it because it fits into the palm of my hand, but is secured to my wrist, so if anyone wants my stuff, they'll have a very hard time! Honestly, it depends on the Arkansas weather as to what I wear. Last year, it was pretty comfortable, so I just wore jeans and an oversized Cord shirt (I even ended up rolling up the sleeves), and my smooshy, comfy LL Bean mocs (these are always on my feet for BF). If it's cooler this year, I usually just layer so I can shed in the car if I get too hot running around.
  17. I shop with my mom and sister-in-law.
  18. Thanks for the info - I'll have to check ours. This would be great for DD's stocking this year!
  19. Thanks - also found some Apostrophe and Classic Elements that were marked low too! I got: (8) shirts, (2) pants, (2) skirts for less than $43 shipped.
  20. Mine are either in our closet or hubby's are hidden in my armoire. None are wrapped ... that's to be done the Saturday after Thanksgiving
  21. Just an FYI - I decided this morning that I needed;) to get some more autumn-scent votives and tarts. So, even though the code CRM708E was supposed to have expired yesterday, it still took the $10 off this morning.
  22. Also - tarts and warmers are 24 for $24 I'm not sure how this worked out, but I had over $45 in my cart with (1) of their new Scentstories discs and it showed that I had spent enough to get a discount (brought the disc down to $2.50 from $7.50). So, that said, I don't know how much you have to spend, but it's a great deal! Adding some codes: $10 off $25 "CRM708E" - EXPIRES TODAY 8/30/07 $15 off $45 "CAT708A" - EXPIRES TODAY 8/30/07
  23. I love: (1) sleeping under the Christmas tree (2) Christmas music (3) watching DD's face light up when she sees Santa and Mrs. Claus
