I have quite a few Christmas CDs that I listen to. Hmmm, I'm thinking I might go dig some out and listen to them now... LOL

Not likely to happen here. LOL Snow's pretty to look at, but having to get out in it to carry day to day business is miserable. I'm not really gonna miss it. (Or the winter depression for that matter) While you guys are (freezing and) enjoying the snow, I'll plop my butt out on the beach... Then we can all be happy.. LOL

It depends on if they're apologetic. If they're sincere, I'm pretty patient. If they say nothing, and have run me over a couple of times, I will say something sarcastic like, "That cart may operate a whole lot smoother if you'd stay off of my feet", or "You could push that easier if you'd stay out of my @ss!!" All depends on how early it is, and how much caffeine I've had.

The 24/7 Walmarts in the area I lived in (St Louis) were open Thanksgiving and that night. You were allowed into the store at any hour, because they were open regular 24/7 hours. Anything that was on the "Blitz" sale, you could NOT touch. They had people guarding those pallets. As someone already said, you were allowed to stand near them, or form a line near them, but were not allowed to touch any of it. What I've done in years past, if Walmart was my first stop, I would go in extra early, get everything else on my list that was not on the Blitz sale, have that in my cart, then grab a chair out of sporting goods and go sit by the pallet I was most interested in and wait until the sale started, or until people started crowding around my pallet.

If your newspaper has a "bargain box" in the classified, they're usually pretty cheap there. Or try freecycle.org. Someone in my area was giving away a king size waterbed a couple of weeks ago.

My flight from St Louis to Florida (by way of DFW) last Christmas was delayed because it was snowing in Dallas.... Didnt think it snowed in DFW, but I guess it does. LOL Gporter34... I have a friend that lives in Paris, TX.

I saw Desperate Housewives on walmart.com for $38. I'm holding out til BF, but if they dont have it then, I'm just gonna get it at the regular price.

I thought of this offer when I filled my car up the other evening at the gas station. I never can stop the pump on an even dollar amount, I always go over by a penny or two... Now I have a reason to go over...

I go with whoever is willing to get up at 3am. This is probably the ONLY thing I do NOT procrastinate at!!! When I say 3am, I MEAN 3am! You're late? you'll need to drive yoruself, cause I'm already gone. lol

It hasn't changed. I've only been to the Brandsmart in Deerfield Beach (I-95 & SW 10th). They have a TON of merchandise in the store (so much that it is sometimes hard to manuever around the displays), but they have almost NOTHING of what is advertised. My advise for BF shopping is not waste your time BF morning at Brandsmart. You can shop there anytime. If they have dirt cheap prices advertised for BF, chances are they're not going to have it in stock. Price match it at another store, at least that way you stand a chance of actually getting the item. I did, however, pick up a couple of handy dandy hurricane supplies from Brandsmart. A 5" battery opperated TV for $8, and a 10" battery operated fan for about $15.

I'm not far from Ft Lauderdale and if it's similar there like it is here there's a Walgreens on every corner. And a CVS on the opposite corner. I haven't been or Sawgrass Mills yet. hmmm might have to check it out. I was going to check out the 2 level Target, as soon as I remember where I saw it. (It was either Boca Raton or Deerfield Beach, I know that much, and it was on US1).

Hmmm. I like that idea. Guess I'm going to the bank on Tuesday to open the savings acct. I use my BOA debit card enough, and will use it plenty in the next 3 months (esp with BF and other holiday shopping going on)

For a deal like that I'd get in line today, and then buy TWO!

The only thing I'm holding out until BF for is to see if there are any good computer sales. I need a new tower, but I can wait. However, if I find a good deal before then, I'll snag it. Kim
