I didn't get the Wii before Christmas, but my boys recieved a "Santa Owes U" Certificate to take to any toy store for the Wii. The certificate told the store employee to charge the Wii to Santa @ the North Pole. Just so happened that our local Wal-Mart call yesterday and had a Wii for my guys that "Santa" had reserved. They were so excited. The day after was much better for Santa than paying way toooo much to the greedy. Our Wal-Mart received 11 yesterday. But "Santa" must of had them all reserved.

My local Toysrus said they will not get anymore until after Christmas.

I think I will go with the 20 questions. Thank for the suggestions.

My son will be attending a church youth group lock-in/gift exchange on Wednesday. They have to take a $10 gift that would be for either a boy or girl. Last year we did the gift card thing, but the youth director said they could not bring gift cards this year. The age group is 12 - 18. Any suggestions?

I prefer submitting online rather than mail. But my purchase was last Christmas and there was not an option for online submission. This is not he only rebate problem I have had with CompUSA. And who are you to know that I did not do anything about it. Opinion were asked and I gave mine. I am glad you have had such good luck with CompUSA, but I have not. And after reading this thread, there are others out there who also have had problems.

I received an email a few weeks ago about numerous UPS uniforms being purchased on E-bay. It was a letter of warning to be careful during the holidays of unusual deliveries. The email supposedly originated from Homeland Security as a caution when accepting packages. It said to call local authorities if supicous of the delivery guys. The email indiated that the uniforms could be used by cons or terrists. I am going to go back and try to find the email for all of the details. Just be carefull!

While waiting in line for a computer on BF morning, the Wal-Mart associate guarding the computers, gave us some inside info. She told us that all of the layaways that were not picked by the deadline will be returned to the sales floor at clearance prices. She said that WM employees have until 12/15 to get their layaways off and then it would take the weekend to clear out the layaway rooms. She said to be sure and come back on the following Monday for the deals.

Gottadeal was mentioned over and over on a local radio station in Lubbock, TX on Black Friday. It first mention was around 6:00 a.m. Then it seemed as if each time I got back in my Tahoe they mentioning the site again. They were very impressed by it. They would mention the different aspects of the site. It was pretty cool, but now everyone knows my secret site.

I have been out of town for a few days, but where did I miss the info on the $99 desktops at Wal-Mart?

Comp USA always sends me a card telling me they would not honor my rebate because it was not received in the timeframe. But the funny thing is that I receive this card back from them before the rebate deadline. Last year I had rebates on computers for $100. Needless to say, I never received. Just the postcard. I avoid CompUSA now. Radio Shack has a quick rebate return.

We are HUGE fans of Jr. I have three boys. (5,7,13) My oldest has his bedroom decorated in nothing but Red #8's. Anyway, check out the toy ailse at Walmart and other stores. My guys like the #8 Rig and collectable cars. They are really inexpensive at Walmart. My guys are getting tickets to go to the Nascar race at Texas in 07 for Christmas. I am filling a box full of clues along with the tickets. I have been able to find some really cheap neat Jr stuff at Walmart. Good Luck. PS Caps and t-shirts are a big hit with my 13 yo.

I done a little research. It seems that the Nitro Touch Tablet my be more suitable for my soon to be 8 year old. The reveiws look good. Does anyone have a comment on this product.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of "computer" for boys 5 & 7? My guys want a computer like their big brother, but I don't think I am ready to make a purchase like that yet? Where are ya'll finding the BBQ crock? I have walked both Targets in my area and only found a desk lamp for 1.98.

I am not sure about the UPC #'s but the coupon book was in the Sunday paper. Hope this help!

How do you find what will be ECB in future weeks?

Check out your Walmart clearance isle for the L-Max. Mine has had them clearanced for several weeks now. They have games for both on clearance also. They did the same last year too.

I bought the Imax a few weeks ago at our Walmart for $27.00. The games were $8.00. Our Walmart runs all of their clearance toys 1/2 off lowest price every now and then. It is usually on the weekends. They did this with all fo the pools and water slides. I also picked up $99 remote control trucks for $20 along with the Imax. My boys are going to have a great Christmas with just the stuff I've gotten from my Walmart clearance and the wonderful deals I have found here. And BF isn't even here yet.

Gameboys are always cheaper on BF. But you have to be early and quick to the department to get it. They are really popular on BF too. I would wait too! Good Luck!

I usually take my purse, but this year I think I should leave it in the Tahoe or at home. To much meanness. I usually have a small spiral notebook with my list by store and the price. I also have my wish list from my kids in this spiral. Then after hitting all of the early morning sales, I take a break and make a list of what I already bought for my boys. I have to stay organized.

I bought the Then & Now Monopoly at my Wal-Mart in Texas last night for $15.00 This was on a display in the aisle between toys and housewares. There were different games on each side of the display. This may be apart of the early November sales everyone has been talking about.

Our WalMart has a lot of these cartridges left. Will Walmart price match for B1G1 ads? I usually take ad into my WalMart for price matching. But I don't remember ever doing B1G1. Wal-Mart is the only discount store I have here. lol

I get emails supposedly from paypal telling me that I have added a new email address to my account. There is a link wanting me to confirm the addition or to dispute it. This must be another way of getting your info. Because when I go to paypal.com there is nothing showing a pending email addition.

While rushing to get my GB SP pkg at Target, a lady ran her basket into my heal. She aplogized and I didn't think much about it them. But today, my heal is killing me. I can't put any pressure on it. The dues we pay for "low" prices. BTW I got my GB SP!

My WalMart has baskets of GB, PS@, Xbox games in baskets infront of the electronics area. The clerk told me these would be the $8 games on BF. I bought 8 of them. I am going to take them back on BF and then repurchase them to get the $8 price. I hope I am successful.
