  1. About 1.5 minutes last year outside of Best Buy. Got all the things I needed, the line to checkout was another story, as it took about two hours to accomplish that.
  2. Wow, I can't believe this. To me, walmart, has the best ad so far: $40 GB Micro, $169 PSP, and some reasonably priced DVD's. The best deal so far, is the $169 PSP, since that's what I'm mainly looking to buy this BF, and I haven't seen any better prices for it so far.
  3. Which store will have the cheapest season box sets? Which store traditionally has the cheapest?
  4. I guess I could keep checking GD all night on my cell phone. Does GD come in a wap version?
  5. Strange, I expected an overwhelming majority for BB.

    mp4

I doubt that any name brand mp4 players will be on sale (ipod), Apple seems to be reluctant to lowering the price. What you will see, I bet, is a lot of off-brand mp4 players, like they have on ebay.
  7. I think, anytime in the next 4-6 billion years. I've been staying up late reading about astronomy through my encyclopedias for no reason.
  8. I predict that the sun will run out of hydrogen to convert into helium and will explode in a magnificant supernova, ironically killing all of life on earth in the process, and finally becoming a white dwarf.
  9. Last year, I went after 5am, to BB, and was still able to get everything I wanted. The line wasn't as long as I had expected, as we get extremely cold weather around Thanksgiving.
  10. I'm tired of hearing negative things about Wal-Mart. 1.They don't allow overtime? That's how it is in most retail stores, you're not allowed to work overtime unless your supervisor tells you. 2. Driving small shops out of business. I don't see what people are complaining about here, it's simple capitalist economics. If you're price is sky high (like most mom and pop shops around here), people are going to stop buying from you and go buy a similar item for a lot cheaper at WM. If you don't like it, go somewhere anti-capitalist, like Cuba. 3. Wages are too low. Most stores are going to start you out at minimum wage, or close to it. That's how it is in retail, unless you have a lot of experience in a certain position. WM is a great store and it's a shame that it's the target of so much pathetic propoganda. Wal Mart gives a lot to charity and communities and they employ the elderly and handicapped when no one else will. In conclusion, Wal-Mart is a great store to shop at because of their low prices, everyday.
  11. Oh yeah, I can't wait until next year's BF. It's so exhausting, but so fun.
  12. PKGentry, did you go to the Kennewick Best Buy by any chance? I went to BB at 5am and got in in about 3 minutes. Getting checked out took another 2 hours, though. However, I got everything, spent about $550.
  13. Haven't had a K-Mart here for a long time now.
  14. This machine should have a lower end motherboard, but I bet that both of those can be upgraded. If that's what you're basing your descision on whether to buy it or not, I say buy it; it's most likely upgradable.
  15. The guitarist kind of looks like Chris Leary.
  16. Why don't you just go to one of those newspaper machine things where you insert a bunch of quarters, then you open the door, and get as many papers as you want? I'm sure those are stocked earlier than convenience stores.
  17. How does a mail in rebate work if you use a credit card? Do you get a check, or is it credited back to your CC account? Sorry, I've never bought anything with a mail in rebate with a credit card before.
  18. Well, excuse me. I can't really tell if it's dual channel or not, since you can't look at them at the store. All of the computers I have, and have dealt with, are dual channel.
  19. I wish I had a shopping buddy for BF and I'm not married. All of my friends think I'm crazy to shop on Black Friday. I think I need to get some new friends that appreciate a good deal and aren't so "high class."
  20. I believe they're the ones stacked up against the wall there closest to me.
  21. Yeah, not that much considering our population. You can probably estimate how many your store will have by comparing to other people's reported population and computer count. Our population is around 120,000, about 30-40 computers for us. Feel free to estimate your population here, and we can probably go from there.
  22. You get used to sitting on it after a while. But you have to pick a cheek and stick to it. Switching sides all of a sudden feels really strange.
