  1. Somewhere in the greater Dilworth/Moorhead MN metropolitan area I figure. Maybe Fargo, ND (heck, it's only accross the river
  2. Does the Wal-mart PM policy cover this as well? - it'll save me all kinds of mileage, assuming they have it in stock.
  3. We have Mario party 8, Tiger Woods 2008, and WiiPlay. Mario Party 8, the 3 year old loves it, so do the wife and I when he lets us play Tiger Woods '08 - it's my fix of golfing until we get temperatures into the 50's at least WiiPlay - largely bought it for the extra controler, I've never played it, wife and kids have.
  4. I got in line hoping for a Wii, but was number 9 at a store they had 8 in stock at Ended up buying the 32" TV for my father in law, he's had it up since we got it for him and loves it. Same thing, has the cable to the wall, not on the digi-box yet, but is able to pull in HD with the OTA in it.
  5. Congrats, and great.....googily......moogily are those large numbers.
  6. So far, the 32" Olevia at Kmart. It was a backup purchase, as I was waiting for the Wii, but the store had 8, and I was number 9 in line at 5:30am. Only stinks because the two folks ahead of me beat me to their spots by about 4 seconds each..... DOH!
  7. Looks like we're expecting a high of 29 on Thanksgiving day, low of 23 that night, and high of 32 on BF, with snow showers expected.
  8. Wow..... In my journalism/Advertising/Public Relations major, I'm pretty sure writing/speaking like this wouldn't have gotten me a passing grade. I'm more than surprised (mortified even?) that a major corporation would make such comments.
  9. We had the insert in the Sunday paper here yesterday....
  10. Gotta have a real one. I'm a christmas geek though, love to go Griswold on the house with lights, and even the best fake trees still look plastic to me.
  11. Have to say thanks, my wife used the coupons to greatly enhance/overhall her work wardrobe to the tune of $100 or so, down to $85 with the coupon.
  12. We just got back from Winnipeg this weekend, and it was the first time I can remember that I lost money exchanging US Dollars for Canadian Dollars. To put it in perspective, our waitress on Saturday night said that it's not uncommon at all for Canadians not just to come into the Fargo / Grand Forks area for major shopping (about 150 and 250 miles respectively) but she said it's pretty common to drive down to Minneapolis/St. Paul for shopping, which is another 250 after Fargo. Course, when you have 13% cumulative taxes on clothing/gifts/etc in Canada, the drive is probably worth it.
  13. Found a good'n last night with the Eddie Bauer 29" Rolling duffle bag. Regularaily $99.99, I picked it up for $24.98 last night. 069040352 is the # on it.
  14. I'm not sure if it's prevalent, but at BB about 4 years ago, I saw people who had soccer shinguards on, albeit on backwards, to prevent some pain of being run into by other carts. When I see people coming in looking like Hockey Goalies, I'll know it's time to stop running with the shoppers and take my chances in Pamplona.
  15. C'mon up, the more the merrier I say; Course, we're about 1300 miles north of Birmingham up here, and ya might want to bring some warm clothes ;-)
  16. The way my wife got me into line was to tell me, "It's just like tailgating". I'm a die hard tailgator, so we'll setup the grill, the canopy for some shelter, the radio, and if the generator isn't in use at the cabin, we'll bring it in to run some DirecTV to watch the game, or, if enough womenfolk gather around the back of the 'burban, whatever programming they'd like. I also reccomend playing cornhole, blongo-ball/Ladder Golf, Washers, it's a great way to gain friends, fend off the cold, and strategically form allies for making sure you each/all get the stuff you want once the doors open.
  17. I hate to ask questions that have been asked before, but for the people who have bought these, or researched these a bit, what is the performance like? My folks are looking for a replacement for their 1987 (yes.... 20 year old) GE 25", and my mom has a 'high end' of $500 for it's replacement. They're obviously no-frills type folks, but just care about something working right. Thumbs up or Thumbs down on Ilo?
  18. I'd say that DirecTV is the way to go. I've had Dish Network, and while they have more HD channels in their lineup (if that floats your proverbial boat), but their service isn't quite as customer pleasing at DirecTV. The phone lines. My installer made me plug them into the wall before he left, because then he could write down that they were all plugged in. 5 minutes after he left, all the phone cord was out and thrown in the closet.
  19. I gotta say..... you don't often see this as the title to a thread.. but, from one dude to another..... man I hope you find 'em!
  20. I think I've read here that Dell's fiscal quarter ends in January, so there are better deals to be had when they're trying to pad the books at the end of the quarter. But, there are folks much more knowledgeable than I would could confirm, or correct that. Might want to check the Tech form as well.
  21. you should buy a "little" deer, and put that next to the two free-lovin' bucks and REALLY confuse people.
  22. High of 39 low of 18. I have a REAL problem walking by all my "winter toys" in the garage knowing I can't use them yet, no ice fishing, no skiing, no snowmobiling yet..... call me looney, but I thought I heard my wife's Artic Cat talk to me this morning and asked if it'd had been grounded. No snow on the ground yet, and it's 5 days til Christmas....
  23. I screwed up one of my wife's gifts a couple years ago too, so now, we have to submit a wish list, and after Thanksgiving, you can't buy anything on the list, Course, I saw nothing wrong with a couple of rifles for hunting season!
