I have had a really positive time shopping online this year. In fact I wouldn't even go out tonight except my son wants a smoker from Walmart for his gf parents. We offered to try to get him one. I haven't received any order cancellations so hopefully it all works out! No, as I have already gotten my hands on the 5 I wanted. Not scalping, but for my son to play and one to keep in package as he collects all things Nintendo, one for a friend as a surprise gift for his wife for Christmas, and the other 3 as give aways in drawings for my schools for positive behaviors. I don't want to be greedy for myself...but always willing to help others, I did text a couple people that are looking.....

I just left my local Walmart and they had 8 on the shelf ....ready to be sold! Might want to check your local Walmart today.....

This a twisted version of your favorite cinnamon roll recipe! Candy cane rolls! My family LOVES them, and I created this version when my boys were tiny, and yet it is their favorite request every year. I have used peppermint candy canes as well as the " red hot " cinnamon variety as well. I batch of your favorite sweet roll dough or even loaves of Rhodes dough thawed works beautifully. Roll dough into large rectangle cover dough with 1/4 cup melted butter and 2 tbsp vanilla I box crushed candy canes sprinkled evenly over the dough( pulse in a blender) Roll and cut as you would regular cinnamon rolls,proof and bake according to dough recipe used. Let cool at frost with a standard buttercream frosting! Enjoy!

I realize many people have to take their children with them shopping or else they cannot go. I have witnessed some pretty bad situations with people shopping with kids. I have seen one newborn being cradled in a mothers are as she reaches into a bin of towels at Walmart getting struck in the head several times. I have seen many children getting yelled at because parents are stressed and tired but desperate to get their needed items. The presents don't seem to be that fun to me at that point, or a fun experience. The first year I took my youngest he was 16 and 6' tall and he came out of the video display with a black eye. Yes, I was standing with him. This is small town Utah.....not a larger city with many more people. To each their own, but I was so grateful to have a husband that wanted to stay home with our kids!

Ok, so while most years I order between 50-75+ orders from Amazon.....not last year! I just checked my history, and my order were very few( in comparison). I am hoping for some fantastic items, and selection to make me feel the love for Amazon again.

I can honestly say that I have only made 1 or 2 purchases in store at Kohls. The store just causes me anxiety to shop in and check out. Not even including high peak shopping times like Black Friday. I make several orders online, but just cannot handle the store!

Oh! The memories of being responsible for my daughters, I remember I was on a hunt, and we were being very quiet, when all of the sudden her pet needed attention! Ugh! I thought my husband was going to flip! Yep, I am getting her one just for fun!

I was able to purchase 4 more , and sent my son after me to grab one for his girlfriend for Christmas! So I am hoping my students will love them in Decemeber! I now have my list finished......Brad, ready to shop for more!

I will be making more purchases this season for our new home as well. I run with Alexa, nest, ring, and Schlage door locks and my "q" garage doors. . I want to be adding more cameras, and proabably more outlets. I spend so much time alone in my home, and we built this one for my "safety" of being home alone......I really utilize everything I have gotten so far.

I have a very good reason for asking.....thinking about it as a reward at a school for positive behaviors. We acknowledge students good behaviors, and enter them in drawings. We know that they are a hard to find item.....but are k-5 kids even going to be interested in winning one?

Good grief......I might need an intervention! I picked up 6 fingerlings, got my hands on 2 SNES systems, and pre ordered some silly thing called LOL big surprise ball. I love shopping! I am finished with our gifts, these will be fun random additions for Christmas Eve bingo!
