I got this one a few years ago out of the coupon insert of the Sunday paper. They have been a hit with my family and now everyone expects them. Santa’s Snickers Surprises 2 Sticks Butter (softened) 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar 1 Cup Sugar 2 Eggs 1 Tsp. Vanilla 3 ½ Cups All Purpose Flour (sifted) 1 Tsp. Baking Soda ½ Tsp. Salt 1 Pkg. (13 Oz.) Snickers Miniatures 1 Pkg. (11 Oz.) Dove Brand Milk or Dark Chocolate Gifts Combine the butter, peanut butter and sugars using a mixer on a medium to low speed until light and fluffy. Slowly add eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Then mix in flour, salt & baking soda. Cover and chill dough for 2-3 hours. Unwrap all Snickers miniatures. Remove dough from refrigerator. Divide into 1 tablespoon pieces and flatten. Place a Snickers in the center of each piece of dough. Form the dough into a ball around each Snickers miniature. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes. (Baking time and temp may need to be adjusted if using more than 1 tablespoon of dough per cookie. Let cookies cool on baking rack or wax paper. Drizzle melted Dove Bars over the top of each cookie. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.

I finally got one yesterday at Wal-Mart. The guy said they got 3 in and had only been out about 10 minutes. I had been to Best Buy earlier in the day, they said the had 9 copies in on Sunday but they were gone within the first hour.

I've been looking for a couple months, no where around here has them.

I got one yesterday, it was addressed to DH, lol.

I finally convinced DH that I need a laptop (or should I say he caved in). Now I need help finding a decent one. I don't think I need anything too extravagant, will be using it for some business stuff, programs like word & excel, then for basic internet stuff. Can someone help point me in a direction of a good one? Oh, and I'd like to stay in the $500-$600 range if possible.

Don't know if you have a Menards where you are, but I saw some there this week.

Was at DG today and they told me that the bows, wrapping paper, and boxes were "going back" tomorrow and would not be going to 75% off. She did say that the trees left were going to 75% off on Monday. HTH

I also get the "deep pocket" ones from JC Penney and they work great. I think it's the Jc Penney home collection brand.

I went to JC Penney last night and bought a coat for my son. They were 50% off and then you got another 15% off if you used your JCP charge.

I still haven't gotten and e-mail confirmation, but did just go to the website and put in my order confirmation number and it looks good. Says it's "pending e-mail notification".

Took me almost 90 minutes to get this site to checkout. I had to keep getting up and walking around when I'd get the error message, but I finally got through.

This is the one store card that I have. The pick a day coupons throughout the year alone are worth it. I always pay it off immediately so it's never been an issue for me (carrying a balance and high interest rates).
