  1. I've been waiting for the solar lights to go 75% off... and to think I promised hubby I wouldn't go shopping today yeah right...
  2. I've used Photoshop Elements for the past 4 years and love it! Not as robust as full version Photoshop but I don't need the extras. Elements has everything I need. Isn't too expensive either. HTH
  3. Thanks.. we have a Cardinal here in Grove City.
  4. What store was this?
  5. That's what I figured... I'll hit the W Broad St Target tomorrow but I'm not optimistic... I just really need my perusing fix Dang playoffs and bowl games have cut a big chunk out of my shopping time Maybe the boss will let us off early tomorrow in anticipation of the big game and I can get some shopping time in before picking up ds from daycare ...
  6. Andybrooke - which two Columbus stores did you go to? I haven't been able to get out but I'm hoping to get out to one tomorrow at lunch... not that there will be anything left.. LOL
  7. I've never had a problem. I have had them ask me where I get them and I tell them "I get them sent to my email"..
  8. Found this on amazon... http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000S6N1ZW/ref=ord_cart_shr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41eUJgNc79L._SS500_.jpg
  9. Thanks... been looking for these!
  10. No prob... Tuttle is closer for me... I've never been to Polaris, have heard its nice though
  11. My mom and I went to Tuttle.. It was a madhouse... but, what can you expect the day after xmas? It was fun and they had a ton of stuff marked cheap. Don't know what they'd have now. Probably still some good deals. I only looked at sweaters so not sure what else they may have had deals on.. Good luck!
  12. Yeah.. I went on Wednesday and got three sweaters for 9.00 each! Then we went over to Macy's and got two more for 15.00 (one 4.00 and one 7.00)... not too bad... its actually the only time of the year I go to the mall.
  13. Ours will probably all come down in the next day or two... not too bad this year since dh didn't get half my stuff down out of the attic this year...
  14. Our target was crazy today!! Not much xmas stuff left at all... wanted to wait on the 6 outlet outdoor timer for my xmas lights but not many left so ended up paying 9.00 today... got 2 colored light nets for my bushes next year for 4.00 each.... I'll go to the one near work later this week and see if they have anything left...
  15. My ds4 also has alot of the take along sets and we've never really had a problem with them. Yes, if you try to set them up on just carpet they can come apart but thats why we put them on a train table. He absolutely adores them!! He also likes that we can pack up a set or two to take with us when we go to Grandma's. We also just got him some of the blue motorized track when we went to the Day out with Thomas in September.. he likes those too but usually just pushes them along instead of turning them on the run on the batteries... Guess he's a control freak already
  16. going over to my brother's tonight... keeping it simple with deli, cheese and veggie trays... tomorrow going to MIL's house for Prime Rib... YUM! Its especially good when I don't have to make any of it
  17. Unless the item is large, everything gets wrapped. Things from Santa are in Santa themed paper with special Santa gift tags. Couple years ago DS 12 noticed that some of the family gifts were wrapped in the previous year "Santa" paper... had to quickly explain that when Santa has extra paper he leaves it for moms & dads to use so that nothing goes to waste... now I'm much more careful!!
  18. Me neither. Is this available online anywhere?
  19. I saw some at Wal-Mart the other day if you are still looking.
  20. My brother and I did that one year. We found all our gifts wrapped in my mom's closet. She found out and took everything back and replaced it with either HBA items or school supplies. Taught me not to snoop unless I wanted packs of pencils and toothpaste!
  21. I replied to the Breakfast study last night but put my work number to be contacted.. Keeping my fingers crossed!
  22. this is great! I'm doing all of my step-dad's xmas shopping for my mom since he can't get out anymore without help. He usually picks up all kinds of things for her from Kohls. Thanks
  23. My mom and I get together the first Saturday of December every year and do some marathon baking. We try to do at least 10 different varieties (usually at least a double batch of each) and split them up evenly. We have grandma come over to ice the cut outs. This year we did cut outs, m&m holiday cookies, spritz cookies, rice krispie treats, oatmeal rolled in red & green sugars, peanut blossoms, italian tender sugar cookies, buckeyes, and 7 layer bars. I'm making up a big plate of cookies to take to work Monday and then my boys usually take care of the rest
  24. I've used tracfone for 3 years now and am completely happy with them. Coverage is great and I always buy the year long service card that comes with 400 units (each minute is one unit whether it is local or long distance). We are getting my stepson a tracfone for christmas and having family all buy him 60 minute cards. We figure that will extend his service through his birthday next year and if he runs out of minutes, he'll have to earn more through chores and good grades.
  25. I took our pics of the kids while we were decorating our tree last weekend, did my adjustments, uploaded to Walmart last night and should be ready to be picked up today or tomorrow. We went to Walmart last weekend with ds4 to get our pic with Santa. They let you take your own pics and the ones I got with my camera were so good I haven't been back to pick up the one they took yet
