The Dollar Spot had some 50% off at one of my locations as well. Also picked up a pack of 4, 5 foot bamboo patio torches 50% off. Regularly $7.99 but paid $3.98, they much nicer then any I have ever seen for $1.00 a piece, they look very sturdy. They are much needed for BBQ's down south in the summer :)

This is so funny because my fiance is from New York and we are in Alabama (I was born and raised). EVERYTIME I say lets go grocery shopping he says it is "food" shopping and I tell him to get a "buggy" and he tells me it is called a shopping cart.

Oh I know. We are having it at a Southern Mansion that is historical in town. They have a 10 page booklet of all the "rules". They have certain candles that only their staff can light. There is only one smoking section and if they find cigarette butts anywhere else, you get fined so much money per butt! They are VERY strict, but they have one vendor that does pyro. They are HUGE sparklers. The house has a curved driveway in the front and they make to to where each barrel of sparklers goes off as you drive off, it is amazing. My father-in-law is quite wild. At the engagement party he ended up dancing on top of one of the tables at the country club, ha. I told him he could not dance on any chairs at the venue because they charge $100 for each arm that is broken should one break off of the chairs, lol. It ought to be interesting!!!!

Thanks OP for posting and thanks to all for the responses. I guess I need to start trying to save more. I am getting married 10/10/08. FH and I are paying for our extravaganza. We hired a wedding planner, since I am not the wedding planning type of girl, she alone was $1200 and our location alone was $2200. We have not even started looking at caterers or florists. Plus FH wants fireworks, lol. Sometimes I think we need to scale back, but then other times I do not think about it. I think I will take advice from you guys and start cutting back on everything else and try to do some of the stuff like invitations and all ourselves.

Thanks. Not sure how it happened, but it was not an honest mistake because yesterday there was another $690 charge to his account from a data company. Someone has stolen the card number, so we are waiting on this second thing to go through and then it will all be closed.

FH got online to check his back account last night and there is a $639.95 charge from www.getresponse.com We have no idea what it is. He went to the bank, everything will be fine, but they can't do anything until it clears (it is still pending). I start googling these people and find a phone number and call.............Kevin answered, he at first said there was nothing they charged for at his company, then when we mentioned what we saw online (you can buy 2000 email marketing leads for that same amount that was charged to his account). Once I said that he gave me an email address for billing, stated there was no phone number, just email. So I call back and I am harassing him, asking all kinds of questions, really just pissing him off till the point of him screaming that I was not listening to him when I kept asking the same questions of I could not understand why I could not talk to anyone about this problem. I got his "bosses" name as Jonathan Moore. They are a sister company to Implix. They are located in Canada and Poland. If anyone has ANY information, I would greatly appreciate it as we would like our $650.00 back NOW!!!!!!!!

I ran into this problem with Walgreens. A new Walgreens opened up right around the corner and all homes in the area got a check for the transfer of medicine to them. Well I did transfer some BEFORE THE CHECK GOT HERE because it was convenient. Well I go there with a NEW script and tried to get the check cashed and they would not let me.

Awesome, I just left this store and there was no 90% off (I am in Mobile, Alabama) but there was 75% off and there were a lot of bins of things marked down to $3 or $4. I will get my receipt and look at it because I did give her my email address!!!!

I am so dumb, dumb, dumb, lol, haha. WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THAT????? Something so easy I did not think about, haha. I was coming back on here to say that I went to Best Buy and they let me get a different game this evening. Then I headed over to WalMart and you are exactly right, they would not let me do it. So I walked out of there with my same game. I know what I will be doing tomorrow, I will go back to Walmart and do what you said. DUH!!!! Thanks for making my brain work a little bit today!

Good luck on deals with DS lite games. I have twin daughters that got them for Christmas. Some of the games like Hannah Montana are dumb. I paid $30 for it (could not to TRU fast enough when they were on sale) and they hate it. All because her name was on it every kid had to have it and I guarantee you not man of them are playing it. Kids want to play games not read, read, read, it was very slow paced. Also bought one today that I am about to take back the Dolphin Petz one. It had 30 pages of dialogue to read before you could do anything. I was worried about not being able to take it back since it has been opened, so I called Best Buy (where I bought the one today) and the gentlemen told me to get it marked when I walk in, to go pick out what I want and to go to the checkout and tell them it was defective and you don't want to get the same thing. I figured they would tell me I was SOL. I am about to head out to do that. Also I am going to take Hannah Montana back to Walmart to try the same thing!
