  1. I would go ahead and buy the harddrive just in case but I would check the old harddrive out before I replaced it. Maybe the os is simply corrupted and needs a reinstall. Yes, it could be as simple as installing the new harddrive, os, and drivers and she would be good to go.
  2. Stolen from another forum. http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?&ref=cj&pfp=cj&product_code=314392 That's only 0.1875 per gig!!!
  3. Let us know how the mic works. I've read that the mic is not good in noisy places. People have a hard time hearing you.
  4. What speed of ram do you need? ddr 266 (pc 2100), ddr 333 (pc2700), ddr 400 (pc 3200), etc.
  5. The one near me was located in the mall that was damaged during katrina and then looted and torched. I think the only thing open now in that mall is sears. JCPenny's an dillards are supposed to open Sept this year and the rest not until 2007.
  6. I love them. Now I've never owned another headset so I don't have a reference. They feel very comfortable and sound great. I would recommend them to anyone.
  7. I use the Plantronics audio 45 dsp headset. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be available.
  8. I got CC to pricematch RS and got the ones without the inline volume control just in case what I've read is true about the static. They sound good. I'm going to have wear them awhile to see how comfortable they are in the long run.
  9. Nice price. The RS near me doesn't have any in stock. I'd have to drive 30-45 min to get to the closest RS with it in stock.
  10. On another forum, I read where these come with an inline volume adjust. This volume adjust seems to lead to static down the road. Supposedly you can price match CC for the same model without the inline volume control - YMMV.
  11. Yea, I remember people talking about it being hackable. Let me be stupid for a minute. What kinds of hacks are possilbe?
  12. Looks like a nice price. I'm curious as to how these feel when wearing them.
  13. OMG, that alot of gummi candies! I take it that you and MrsB like gummi candies.
  14. Ok, I'm torn. The creative zen nano 1gb and the sandisk sansa e140 1gb a daily deal from 4/24 are both 64.95 AR. The sandisk does have a fm tuner and expandable memory.
  15. With the free shipping, the price comes out the same as Rossman's post about J&R's sale last thursday. J&R still has white in stock. The dark blue one is calling me.
