Do you have something you buy every black Friday? I know people that make sure they always get the special food sale items. I know that Kmart usually has chips and soda on sale on Thanksgiving. I seem to always buy a purse for BF every year...lol.

I am currently looking for a job and I told hubby I would have to have it off if I found one...lol.

Wish we lived closer so I could go check prices.

It would be great but I seriously doubt there are any for me...lol.

Changed for me when I got a real job. I actually HAD money to buy them stuff...instead of having to get money from dad or mom to buy the others gifts.

We had considered doing this also but since we probably won't sleep anyway...decided against it.

I HATE green bean casserole. I think I am the only person in the world that does. On the other hand LOVE hashbrown casserole...would you mind sharing that recipe?

Oh you just reminded me of the funniest thing ever. Hubby and I went shopping on BF w/ our daughter who was then almost 1 year old. We were pretty far back in line and then needed a cart so I ran on ahead while hubby got the cart. We wanted a vcr that was on sale that year for cheap. Well turns out Kmart had them up high on a riser. Someone had climbed up to hand them down to people. Well I got one of the last ones and was standing there waiting for hubby to come when I hear this guy up on the riser say...hey I didn't get mine. The guy had handed em all out and not kept one for himself...lol.

Been doing bf since 96.

I am thinking about taking my own pics this year also. Mostly because its an hour to Sears and then another hour drive to pick them up a couple weeks later. Just a big pain...and most of the time w/ my kids...my pics are better than the photographers.

Yet another store we don't have here....sigh.

Well it is when you win...right now I am trying to find dresses for the other 2 and keep getting outbid...lol.

Maybe she's like me and afraid to even touch another credit card. I had over 24 at one time.

From another NON-CC user I know how you feel. We recently moved to CA...and I can't even get on my husbands bank account because I don't have a credit card. He had a atm/visa card for our old account but that bank only issues one per account...so I don't have one...so I can't get a bank account. Sorry you missed out on the sale.

I agree. I just didn't think their prices are all that super.

Christmas Eve ?? Good question. Will probably have the girls open one gift and watch the news to see Santa. Probably watch a few Christmas movies also. Hubby will no doubt have to work...so I am not sure what time the girls will get to bed.

We put the family gifts under the tree as soon as I get them wrapped...but the girls gifts won't be there til Christmas morning.

Maybe it's the brand you use? Wouldn't suprise me if my old company bought the cheapest stuff possible. And of course they were the huge store windows.
