My two cents - yes, with an exception. If they're a 14-yr old who has to have name brand everything, then probably not; I know a few like that.

I think the $39 price is for 8 PM Thurs to 3 AM Fri, I think it will be this lower price only these hours.. After that for the '3-day' sale its $49. hth

Not just w/ Wal-Mart, but in general, I've noticed BF items being higher priced than last years BF. I think it should be the other way around.

Here is LAST years SamsClub.com BF Online thread. I don't shop Sams Club online, but after reading through that thread I noticed some things sold out mighty quick. So if the TV you want is a hot item + a must get item for you, it might be best to try and get it in-store.

Hmmm... I am noticing that too. I am not clicking on everything in the ad, but at least the majority all say 'in stores only'. My is I think there will be at least some of the items available online. There always has been, and I think it wouldn't be wise of Wal-Mart to not do online BF sales this year.

No one knows 'for sure' that I know of yet. BUT, last year their sale went live on Wednesday night at 11pm EST (8pm PST). They announced that time a few days before BF, so hopefully they will announce it ahead of time again this year, but probably just a couple days. hth

In the past years I was able to take other stores' actual advertisements to Wal-Mart to price match. BUT it had to be the exact item model #/color/etc and if the item was on sale elsewhere for specific hours then I would need to price match during those hours at Wal-Mart. I haven't really price matched elsewhere.
