I am working two 3 hour shifts.... what a great plan!

he bought the arcade version this week. his friend has offered a HD & a controller. I'm sure we'll see him in the next couple months.

I have one.. zoom is 12x... not 50.

I had the same issue with Circuit city... not as bad, I didn't go back a second time :)

save the points. if you HAVE to spend them: music is better than DVD because you are more likely to listen to a CD over & over than watch a DVD over & over... Or you could start Xmas shopping... I have been saving them. every so often I poke around to see what I could get... but I haven't spent them yet.

I vote for neither. you won't watch B often enough to own in... and A... well... maybe a rental?

I had a similar incident with sunscreen at the checkout line at my local walmart. there was a whole case worth by the sign. someone stocked it wrong. they would not honor the price, regardless of the law.

this might be irrelevant... he has a friend with a spare 20g HD....

he doesn't care about the headset, a friend already gave him some games, he would like a wireless controller... but will settle for wired. *Can* I spare him more - sure. but - he is getting $300 play money.... he can chip in the extra 50 bucks if it comes to that! (we are not starved for video games around here... ) oh, ya, he does not want refurbed.

DH has been given $300 of the tax refund. he'd like an Xbox 360... the one w/ the HD, but he says the one he wants is usually $350... he asked if I would keep an eye out while I was gottadealing it, but I figured you all have more eyes than I....

I've had a membership over the last year or so that I activate whenever they give me a free month. Last week I got an email that made me laugh... I wrote Blockbuster online today: They responded and are going to credit my account with a free month! sweet! I just thought it was funny that their terms and conditions contradicted what they said... but I'll take it.

ask your friends/family who have verizon if they've upgraded their phone - and if they still have the old one. Chances are someone does. *poof* free. I'd lend you my old one - but it is being used by a friends daughter who jumped into a lake with hers on. I'd send you DH's but his went for a wild ride when he saved our DD from jumping into the river after a softball.

we got the 7/70 extended warr on my car. be cautious, there are *tons* of scam warranty places out there.

Olympia sports has jerseys on clearance - some. you might want to check stores like Sports Authority, Finish Line, Sports Chalet, etc.
