The conversation about Destiny brings up a good point. I always would say buy the version of the console you want with the biggest HD available. Trust me if you buy several games from Xbox Live or PS store and put it on the harddrive it will full up quickly. It's worth it to not have to swap it out later.
Depends on the store. Walmart/Best Buy/Gamestop I would never consider going in the store, online only. Smaller stores or stores that don't get the crazy crowds like Lowes or Home Depot i generally will go in person.
My general advise on game systems is buy what your kids friends have because the most they will get out of it is playing against friends/others online. So if his buddy has a 360, get the 360. Most of the games on the One will be available on the 360 as well for some time. I would even check craigslist to see if some people who have an xbox one might be looking to unload a 360 for a good price.
I think people voted with their feet. They were not going to sacrifice family time to get to the store at 8 pm. We will see if the stores take notice for next year
I clicked on it when it first appeared, the wheel spun but didn't add it to my cart, and showed it was 55% claimed already, immediately clicked again and got it. But it went immediately (dvd/br/ultraviolet)
I've always chosen to have the item mailed to my house and never had it canceled. The whole point of shopping online is I don't want to go in the store right?
