IIRC, he gets the ad straight from walmart (possibly from others that happen to catch a peek and send it on not realizing he cant post it) and in turn for their "kindness" he waits until the date they give him to release it.

We also do jammies on christmas eve. The kids already know thats what they are getting for that 1 persent to open. I grew up getting new pair of pjs on Christmas Eve and passed it on. We need to get dds laptop, gift cards for niece/nephew and their SOs, inlaws presents and stocking stuffers. I'll still probably buy the kids more stuff but we could be done (minus the laptop) today and they both have like 30 presents to open. Even already got their PJs, just waiting on my sons to be delivered.

I'm a fly by the seat of my pants type of person LOL I know ahead of time pretty much what I want in the order of importance. I gather up any coupons for places I use them (walgreens, dollar store, etc). Thanksgiving I just take out the ads I want and circle what I'm wanting. Then I head out and hope for the best! lol

Yes, very very popular! I bought 2, one for each kid, the day they went up for sale. It took about a week or so for the hype to cause everyone to go nuts and be out of stock. Just keep checking. I'm sure there are websites devoted to letting people know when they show up in stock at certain stores. Maybe google search for those and keep calling and checking your stores.

They usually have most of the lanes open, however, its a small store. I think there are like 6 checkouts as it is LOL. Its a madhouse at our store. Its been a few years since I've been there on BF though (actually, more than that. Probably when it was actually still BF on Friday LOL) Maybe its changed some since then. But back then, trying to shop was almost impossible because the lines snaked through some of the isles so you'd be trying to shop and people would be there with carts of stuff. Small isles, too hard to navigate, awful.

I'm ready for Walmart, Walgreens, Target, and Khols. I'm interested in the TRU but I never go there because the line forms as soon as the door opens and extends outside 5 minutes later. I've spent 2 hours before waiting to check out at our TRU.

This is the first year I could be done buying as soon as we pick out dds laptop. So I'm excited to see every ad LOL. I have no idea what I'm shopping for yet hahaha

Small town so yep. We have a walgreens here and I'm first in line usually most every Thanksgiving. I get up, get the Turkey ready and going, get anything else I can prepared and going and I head to walgreens. Some years there are a few cars waiting but nobody usually gets out til right before they open LOL. Its cold here usually. There have been small lines before, maybe 10-15 minutes. Weather could be anything from snow/sleet and 20s to warm and sunny in the 60s. Gotta love Southern Illinois! LOL

Yep, if you know ahead of time I do believe there is a way to get that limit lifted. Like for people that go on vacation and stuff. I use a combo of cash and bank card, sometimes I'll use a store card for the incentive that's going on right then. Last year I applied for old navy card A) cause the line had 0 people in it and I could use that line if I applied and also I think it was 0 interest until a certain date or something. I used it for my purchase and paid it off the next day LOL I use it every so often now.

DD (12.5) will have candy, itunes cards, probably xbox points, nail polish, some form of stuffed animal. Her santa present is a new lap top so probably a few things to go with that. A new mouse pad...

Target, Walmart, and/or Sears in the middle of the night, waiting around and hoping to be close enough for the gift card or snow globe or whatever. All the stores we've always gone to are still around thankfully.

Hatchimals! I already bought 2, one for each kid. Anything PJ mask related for the little kids too. The ninjalinos are HTF already. There is a headquarters coming out and I'm stalking every single day for it. No release date that I've found but I will buy it the day it goes on sale.

I dont think any stores themselves will release any ads on the day of elections. I'd like it if they gave them to us before but it'll probably be a few days after.

I got my husband one 2 years ago.. I think I got it before BF because, like posted above, its not something to wait on. I searched around and when I found the best deal I bought it.

I'm sad there will not be any new shirts or hoodies, however, since I already own 6 shirts and a hoodie from here, I think I'll survive a year without a new one. lol Bring on the cool goodies! I'm ready to win!

I would love the whole black friday experience again. My mom and I had a ton of fun and I'd love to show my daughter whats it like to do it like we did back in the day. I also do love the fact that I dont have to get a babysitter cause my husband is still home when we shop on Thanksgiving. Its hard to find someone to come over at 2am (and he leaves for work around that time) lol

With Luke no list is really needed, but he's 5 so lol With Madison, I beg for a list. Sometimes I get one or she just says she doesnt know.
