Sitting on eBay right now for 279.99 Free shipping. Comes out to about 220$ after tax in store. Decent deal. This is probley Target's "NetBook" that they have done the past 2 years.

Ditto, this is exactly what I tell people about most holidays. There all like ITS NOT "insert day" if its not done on "such a date". Its ubsurd. Thanksgiving can be whenever you make it. This year will be kinda bleak for me thoe. Might be eye-ballin a Bostin Market sit down. Most of the family is off doing there own things. I have divorced parents so, mother got married this year. So shes in her own world now. Eh whatever. Sucks but oh well.

I don't divulge time either. But last year it was sometime wend. I also asked the manager prior to setting up camp if it was ok. He brought me out the ad before "anyone else" got to see it heh. All part of the perks heh. I don't suspect I will need to be there earlier then I got last year. I will do recon thoe prior to line up for the best time. Most people at my store don't seem to get there till (when it was 5am opening like 7pm-12am. So I suspect a earlier lineup during thursday. Usually its about 30+ by that time. So im not too worried.

Count me in for another attempt, i've only been doing this for at least 5 years. Its all about the build up, the good deals. And the time spent camped out with everyone else that is there for the same reasons as yourself. I know sometimes participating in thanksgiving is difficult when things like this are done. But man, some people just don't get what it means to us diehards. Its a holiday all in-itself.

They have a 32in TV for 229$. Id say thats decent.

Out of hand if you ask me. Next you will see big box retailers staying open on thanksgiving.

A friend of mine that works at BestBuy has mentioned that usually there hours for Black Friday are in stone by now. Instead it says "TBA" for the first time. I'd say its almost certain they will open up at midnight. I personally do not like these midnight openings. But I don't see retailers going back to the way it was. I see "Black Friday" being a term now instead of a actual day. Sad to see where things go just for retailers to try and capitalize on the term. In my mind the deals really haven't been that great in recent years.

These times are starting to get out of hand. Next year they will start during Thanksgiving. There all a a bunch of soup nazi's. No Thanksgiving for YOU!

Thats what Black Friday has become. Its all about the name. Not the deals anymore.

Every year they say the economy will have a affect on Black Friday. And every year, Black Friday ends up being the largest day for retail sales. Not to mention breaking the previous year. Likewise with Cyber Monday. I think it will be just as crazy as the previous years. Because everyone continues to think Black Friday is the greatest day to shop and will come out and spend money. More and more deals are coming in the months of oct-nov. NOW is the time to buy and watch online deals and in-store. The savings of Black Friday are becoming a thing of the past and more a tradition that people just get into. The best deal I got last year was the 59$ 2TB from Target. Even thoe I camped at BestBuy for 2+days. I really do it for fun with friends. So count me in again this year. It's a shame, this year I don't have my audio truck anymore with the back-end of electrical. Will have to borrow some batteries heh. Wonder how much juice my hybrid has stored up :-D

And thats why year after year I will do this. Its the expierence man. Anyone who doesn't go out are wusses.

I offered my 189$ Best Buy laptop at cost because at there Best Buy one family bought every one available, so they went home empty handed after waiting a very long time in line being 4th. Helpin out a follow gottadeal'r. Hope you enjoy it dustysky!

I don't know what the lines were like in the previous years, but I know it was growing faster then last year and had more people at a 1am then it did last year.

Considering im listening to Christmas Music at the same time, yep. I did my usual of people aking how things were done and helping them out etc. But nothing specific.

Everything went as planned except my Best Buy didn't have Gran Torino on bluray available at all. However, i've found out that the ad is a misprint on the 149.99 netbook which stats that it has windows 7 starter. IT DOES NOT. Which is kind of a disapointment. On the bestbuy website it is shown to be a windows xp machine, but in the ad it clearly stats windows 7 stater. Not sure what is capable of being done. Kinda was expecting to see Windows 7 since it was advertised as that. Anywho, im going to bed.

I don't know about you... but im getting holiday pay and im on a paid vacation... And just ... a little ... more then 7.75 a hour... Don't hate the playa, hate the game.
