I aggree, I still hope there is somthing that gets me out on black friday every year thoe. The bestbuy 197$ laptop changed my mind this year. I enjoy doing this. Its much more fun to camp out then it is to refresh a page and click add to cart :-p

I don't see free shipping on any item nor is it advertised anywhere. Is it just a YMMV? I see 44$ shipping for the 299.97 desktop.

Just becuase HP makes a Compaq doesn't make it as good as a Product. Put it this way. If you are compareing the line here, you list eMachine as the lowest line. Which... *drumroll* it is..

Still only about 15 people in line right now, same as last year around this time. The difference between this year and the last is everyone has a tent. One person bought one and they were like its only 38$ at sports athority, then it just snow balled. I don't expect the line to pick up untill 5-7pm. First person arrived at 3pm Wendsday, I got here at 6pm. Im 4th in line.

What pisses me off, is someone who is the in the first spot in the line thinks they can just get up and leave when they want and come back 3 hours later and just assume there spot is still there. Is this right? No not at all, is there anything that can be done about it? Nope. Off coruse you could get in a fight with them but then neither of you get anything becuase the cops get called. Its stupid non of the stores hire someone to "police" the line. Whats the point of a line if someone puts a tent down and then goes to sleep in there comfy bed at home. Or goes home to eat thanksgiving dinner while we all eat it from a plastic bin. It makes sense when someone leaves and has a sitter in place. But to leave a post completely empty. That should void your postion. :x

Honestly, if theres any crap brand, its eMachine. Thats about as LOW as you can go. Especially a eMachine Laptop. They barely produce any laptops.

Ill have snacks, water, chair, blanket to covermyself with, jacket if needed, deep cycle batteries for juice; two in my car itll give me plenty of juice for a laptop for 36hours.

I beg to differ, I have owned HP Laptops for 6 years now, a new one each year. NEVER have I had any issues with any of them. I recommend them to everyone I know and buy them for clients when they are looking for a laptop and NEVER have a had a issue with them. There customer service is second to none and are always willing to go the extra mile for me. To each his own.

Heh... Thats a page that was added in from last year to show where the ad came from when it was first leaked. If you look in the bottom right of page 36, it will say 2008 :) Did you ever decide what store your going to?
