I just bought a laptop last week to replace mine, i7 core, 17in led, 230m 1gb, 4gb ddr3, 320gb hd, wireless n, webcam, windows 7 home, blu ray = 999$ cheapest you can get a i7 quad on a laptop. Sold my old one for 600$ spent 399$ not to shabby.

Not the 399$ x235... this is the x265.. With Blu Ray it makes the deal even sweeter.

I don't remember but I think they had a couple last year even thoe it wasn't mentioned. But I think a big part was to do with CircuitCity. It seems mabye the days of Black Friday are numbered, and so has begun Black November. :-p I think if I wait at Bestbuy its going to be for that netbook and sony vaio laptop for friends or family if they still want it by then. Mabye ill just skip it and eat turkey in a warm house.. not like it will be very cold here in sarasota, 55f w00t.

Id take that news article with a grain of salt personally. I saw that this afternoon, looks like complete jibberish just to get hits. The same person said he had the walmart ad, it turns out when you would click to view it it showed just the saturday sales. I doubt any of that is real at all.

Try being on a PC all day.

I got no love for walmart, last year they did there secret sale on the saturday first week. Everything after that sucked, and then the black friday ad was terrible.

Still nothing yet, :x I hope it comes out on/before the 14th so I can decide to get the tv bestbuy is having on the 15th lol.

Very rare when somthing like that happens, kudos to that walmart.

Last year I actually bought a laptop 2 weeks before bf and I have still yet to find a better deal. HP 17in, Dedicated 512MB, 4GB, Blu Ray, 250GB HD, Windows Vista, Freakin Subwoofer... for 800$. Im hoping to find somthing simliar this year to replace it, but I don't think I will, especially with the Dedicated Video Card. I can only hope that bestbuy can pull somthing off with a secret sale. Most laptops in this range are 1100$ right now..

After judgeing by what bestbuy did this year already I guess I was wrong. Of all things I was suprised amazon came out of the hole with somthing.

EVERY walmart around me, and I do say all 12 of them... are doing it at 8am. Called all of them, most have between 10-15, they mentioned to go directly to the electronics department. Each store was a 24 hours store.

I don't think they will, they didn't last year and this year there isn't really any competion for them.

Yeah checked just a little while ago, candy still 50% off.

Was at target last night, everything but candy was 75%, candy was still at 50%. I will be going there in a bit and will report if candy has hit 75%.

I can tell you that a best buy opened up 5m from my house, and they handled there first black Friday very nicely. Didn't have any issues at all. So I wouldn't expect you to have any issues.
