Our HDTV pixture quality is great if you have the signal for them. If you do not the quality is crappy. Most stores have a very HOT signal coming if for these sets or they play them with a HD DVD or satellite signal. But if you don't have the HD signal when you get home, you will see the backgrounds in the shows moving. If your going to use the set for games and or dvd's it will work fine.

The tickets will be passed out Fri @ 3am. THey will be for the doorbuster specials that they have limited quantities of. If you do not have a ticket you will not get the special item (s). Laptops, desktops, cameras, etc. If there is anything you want electronically, you need to be in line Turkey day early afternoon. Good luck !

In checking with our store, we were told of the "Back Stage Pass". It's $25.00 for a year, you get 10% off your purchases. But on BF and your Birthday you get 20% off. So we're chipping in and getting one for BF. We all come out that way.

Well, I just came from a WM in Arkadelphia, AR and saw one Duracell box marked for BF. When I spoke w/ one of the AM she said that they only had on 2 pallets for BF. Something is wrong here with a week away. If this keeps up they will have to rename BF to Red Friday. Retailers won't get out of the red this year.

At our BB, they will start at the front of the line w/ a particular item ticket handing them out for those who want that item until all the tickets are gone. They only have as many tickets as they have items on hand in the store. There is only one ticket per customer. If there is something you really want line up Turkey day early. How do you multiples?? Bring your friends with you. Make friends in line. Good luck

Definately purchase the extended warranty on any of the new lcd, lcd flat panels, dlps or plasma tvs. If I am not mistaken Vizio is a Samsung unit, Polaroids trouble getting parts, Ilo no parts available, and I trying to remember who made Olevia not sure but is no a good brand.

Instead of Black Friday, why not Red Friday? Let the retailers stay in the Red. Unite and stand together.

Does anyone know what Tv on DVD titles will be available @ FYE on BF?? Looking for Charmed -- Final Season.

I own my own business, therefore I closed, Thurs and Black Friday. Just to go spend turkey day in a line in front of a store. Eagerly awaiting for the hunt of bargins.

I usually make Target one of my first stop after I get my vouchers at BB. I wish that Hot Springs AR had a Target, but Wally must have a tight grip on our town. They have NO competition here. That is why I go to Little Rock.

You can shop on line at Kohls at midnight. I did that two years ago and go everything. No problems. But I must admit that I do enjoy standing in line, its just part of BF and getting into the spirit of Christmas.

Do yourself a favor and buy the extended warranty. New technology is not holding up very well. Brand makes no difference. The extended warranty will pay for it's self.

I usually go to Little Rock. More stores spread the friends around the stores.

I was wanting these frames for Christmas gifts and they were sold out at all Targets that I went to. I did hawever get rain checks. I did purchase one at Kohls and one at Office Depot. I have not tried them. Has anyone else tried the frames from other stores? Thanks for info.

The warranty doesn't do you a lot of good, when RCA doesn't have the parts to send to the repair shops. and NO repairs are not covered in your home, they will have to taken in to the repair shop.

As I said in the other thread. As an owner of an electronics repair shop--that used to do warranty work for RCA--I would not recommend buying this set.

Well as an owner of an electronics repair shop. I have to say we dropped RCA as a company we did repairs for about 3 months ago. One of the biggest reasons, was that we were unable to get parts to repair sets (under warranty) and wasn't able to get them for several months. There are tons of other problems with RCA's too, I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Last year my son, DIL, my friend and I camped out at BB for the computers. We had tickets for the desktops and laptops this was around 4 am. My DIL and I gave our tickets to my son and friend and we went to TRU and Target to stand in line since they opened at 5 am. Got in and out at the TRU and Target went back to BB. Stood in line there for our computers only to find that they did not have anymore laptops. I had a ticket but they did not have the same number of laptops as tickets. I complained to no avail no compinsation either. So tickets don't necessarily guarentee you a product. I did find the 1 gig thumb drives that were on sale. Better luck this year, plan on camping out again just earlier than last year. We was there at 11:30 pm will be alot earlier this year. This year going south to Texas to BF with Big Brother and SIL and nieces.

Your best bet is to get there early, camp out be as close to the front of the line. Even though you are not wanting ticketed items the lines inside willbe long and furious. Get in get what you want and get out. The lines at the check out wrap around the store not a pretty sight. Look luck and take a friend to help gather items.

I purchased a chocolate fountain for my aunt and uncles 50th aniversary. Well the fountain worked unitl the reception started and then the motor quit. Chocolate went all over the table. Was not pretty. I took the fountain back and got a refund. (I did purchase it from Wally World).
