Even though Toshiba does have some models that are Orion, there are still some sets that are true Toshiba made with the quailty. If you want Orion buy Orion. The name brands that are sold at Sears, Sears buys them from the manufacturers without any mfg. warranty, therefore, Sears is responsable for any "warranty repair" 90 days labor, 1 year parts, 2 years Picture tube.

Check with the service centers in your area to see which brands they are authorized to work on under warranty. 1) Sony 2) Toshiba 3) Sanyo 4) Others RCA having problems with parts availablity. The new DLP and LCD tvs recommend buying extended warranty. They will be expensive to repair.

Mine won't go anymore. A few years ago in Texas at the Target store they only opened one set of doors and everyone tried to pyle on them crushing a pregnant woman and someone in a wheelchair. Complained to the store manager who did not care. But I still love to go!

Last year we left Hot Springs at 2:30 am to drive to Little Rock. Dropped by daughter-in-law off at Toys r us drove past Best Buy where there was line of about 15 people and went to Target where there was no line until I started it. So this year with the computers that are on sale at Best Buy I think that we will leave at midnight for our 1 hour drive to Little Rock.Good luck everyone!

I always make a photo copy of the completed rebate form, reciept and UPC bar code before mailing them.

Either way will be crazy. If you have a friend or relative that can go with you and the two of you split up one at WalMart the other at BB. Best Buy line starts early around here. Last year I believe it was 1 am. Walmart they put the merchandise all over the store w/ black plastic around the flats. The merchandise goes fast at both stores. If you go by yourself I'd do Walmart since you have other items you want to purchase there. Good luck either way!

I think that with all sales you have to always double check the prices. I am thankful for this webpage which gives the opportunity to price check. Make a list and double check at the stores now. I enjoy Black Fridays have been doing it for years now.
