I think last year it was right after labor day-we're teachers and I remember buying a ton of stuff there, but I can't remember exactly when. I know it was not long after we went back to school (which is last week of August).

Just returned from Target-Summer stuff still 75% off. Ours actually has quite a bit of stuff left and I was able to pick up a cartload full of goodies!! I think we must still have so much because our store is remodeling to a Greatland and it's a bit of nightmare to shop at right now-it seems only the diehards are spending much time bargain hunting so I've come across some nice deals-toddler clothes, some great lotions/body wash. Our store has quite a lot of furniture on clearance too, but alas not the Milano chair I'm eyeing!

I just got back-not much to brag about...I did find some toys 75% off that I snatched up for Christmas gifts (I'm not even sure what they are-something like BattleDamans? Robot-looking things that fight I guess). Also, the summer seasonal stuff is 30% off and my store (Springfield, MO) still has aisles and aisles full so I'll be watching that. The only thing I really wanted was the little cube Igloo coolers and it looked like they were the only thing that they were out of...oh well. Lots of cute serving stuff I have my eye on too!

I've been reading this thread religiously for some time now-thought I'd share my own bargains from yesterday. I found toddler tennis shoes 75% off-some were Sesame Street ones that have the lights in the heels and the others were Pro Spirit (very cute...kind of baseballish looking, if that makes any sense at all.) Anyway, they were 3.24-I bought my son's next two sizes! Couldn't find any of the magic erasers, but I too am a huge fan of them! Our store is remodeling so the clearance bargains are a little harder to locate, but they seem to have more stuff than normal when you do find the stashes.
