  1. I mean $$$ (oops sorry). I love games. I meant that the company makes a mint off off the games themselves and not the system so much. To ream us for the system sucks!
  2. I think it is crazy to spend 400. Heck I am pissed I bought Gamecube & XBOX for 149.00, I think, way back when. Game systems are just not worth that much to me.
  3. You can disagree with me all you want, I have a different perspective. I was thankful for Ebay a couple of times. I have never sold a thing on EBAY. Never will. I am happy people do it so I don't have to. It does stink that others bought up gobs of stuff and then sold it. I am not saying that is great but nothing you can do about it.
  4. Yes what you are saying is true. But in life there is always Good VS Evil. I guess with "things" I don't get upset about that. If I think about the dolls that were made I might be more inclined to be upset that quite possibly these dolls were made by people that are very poor in a third world country. The person that made that doll might have gotten 1/2cent for doing so. The coporation that sets the price for the doll is exploiting workers for our enjoyment. You can go on and on.....Life is not fair, that is true. Some of us are like you. I also do not sell on EBAY. I would prefer to donate items even if they sell them to make a profit to put food on there table. I figure it does come out in the wash, at the end of the day.
  5. Line queues that only allow a certain #. The first 20 or so people are in a roped off line queue. Then start the other line queue, seperated from them.
  6. Maybe you can look at it this way... Some people are unable to get to a store to buy the items. Maybe they are disabled, sick, or out in the middle of nowhere. Even though they pay a higher price they are thankful to be able to have EBAY as a resource. Some people do have money and don't care what it costs. They prefer to have others "shop" for them. I hope that can make you see things a little differently.
  7. I have 2 girls and they are 9 & 14. This year there is no more "Big Guy" so we are doing things different. Basically Older dd wants World of Warcraft which is online per month plus the game. She needs a new cell phone. Also she is going to be visiting friends over the holidays so there is $$$. Younger dd is getting 2 Nintendogs game and probably "Animal Crossing" (DS comes out Dec 5). I am getting Sirius Radio....
  8. UPDATE...I am back home. I ended up buying the Leap Pad with Writing (Ages 4-8) at WalMart. Original Price 48.88. Paid 25.00!!! Woo-Hoo!!! I bought 1 set of books from Walmart and paid reg. price 14.00ish. However went to TRU and paid 9.44 for Thomas for the LeapPad. YEA!!! Thanks to all for your help.
  9. Thanks everyone! I am off to battle. I hope I have some luck on my side.
  10. Does it have Thomas? The boys are really into that. My nephew does have fine motor skills. He lacks gross motor. He has PDD. I am not familiar with the Leappads. When I am out today I will look. Thank you so much!!!
  11. Oh yea...The day after BF is better. More shopping.
  12. Thanks! Now to figure out which one? My girls never had a Leappad. I am getting for my nephews who are 3 & 4. One has some autism. Probably should go for the My First Leappad.
  13. I am going out today. Getting clothing and shoes. Also Leappad. I know that someone has great deals still. (I hope!) So if you are shoppping today headed toward some great deals, can you share where and what the sale is?
  14. UPDATE!!!! DH went out for round 2. He went to Best Buy & Circuit City for the closing noon time to see if their was a no show. It is how we got the BB computer last year, and SUCCESS!! He scored a Circuit City computer (desktop)!!! Hee-hee-hee. The lady behind the counter said some guy had walked out because he did not want to deal with the rebates but she couldn't sell it until noon. He also got another 79.00 TV from Sears, I think. Not sure he is sleeping and passed out.
  15. Pretty poor trip, but I did get some things I wanted. Linens and Things Ionic Breeze 150.00 a piece We got 4 of them. 16. No computers here either. We finally got to BB at 4am. HA! Found out that 11PM was the time to line up. People were selling vouchers and employees looked the other way. I would have bought one but no CASH! Shoot! Interestingly the IPOD NANO was not a big hit in line. He had many vouchers. It was done rather well but the inside was jam packed and crazy.
  17. YEA!!! I just got World of Warcraft online!!! 24.99 plus 2.49 shipping & 1.99 tax. Grand total...29.47. I am happy. Significantly less than 49.99!!!
  18. Someone had purchased the Milliennium Falcon at 98. 2 weeks ago. Targat has it listed for 49.99. Can person go in and get money back? Get it for the BF price?
  19. Thank YOU! We have never been at opening. We lucked out last year and got the 200 computer and we want to try for the 149 computer this year. OOPs...sorry! WOW (World of Warcraft) PC Game. That retails for 49.99 and 24.99 is a great bargain but 20 per store is not good odds.
  20. We want the 159.00 computer and WOW for 24.99. I know they hand out line tickets for computers. Do you get seperate tickets for different computers? How about WOW? Is that just run and grab?
  21. We are trying to get the Best Buy 149.00 computer. So when do you think they hand out the line tickets?????
  22. Hi new here and also waiting for BF! We are electronics shoppers. Last year we got the Best Buy $200 computer. It was a great deal for us. So was ended being your biggest success last BF?
