  1. Pfft, we're not nice now.
  2. Mine said the same. Although we do buy stuff from Best Buy, our purchases have reduced quite a bit in the past couple of months.
  3. If anyone is buying anything from Best Buy, get a gift receipt. It's not rude to the recipient, because you never know if they already have the item or it's just not their thing. Way back in my day, when I worked retail and had to process returns, it SUCKED and it was EVEN WORSE if you did not have a receipt. I got into this fight at least once a week and I always stuck to my guns of "no receipt, no return" unless you KNOW you purchased by credit card and I could look it up. And then if it was outside of the dates (most of the time they would be about 2-3 months out because "they couldn't get to it")... too bad. This is also when the complaining would start, and believe me, the level of responsiveness goes down the second a customer would begin the constant complaining and threatening to bring it to the store manager... because I'm right.
  4. Dang, I guess they did. Shows you how long it's been since I've been outlet shopping. Darn you gas prices!
  5. Are you near any outlet centers? They may have a London Fog there.
  6. map is up to date as of this post. :)
  7. I really hope not, because this McDonalds isn't open 24 hours, and that would mean that patty has been sitting there since the day before, since I got it around 7:30am. And it's hard to burn off calories when you sit at a desk all day.
  8. Hey not all attorneys are skeezy ambulance chasers... they unfortunately have to bend to the will of their client. *cough*whoneedtodevisebetterprotectionovertheirintellectualpropertyiftheydon'twantitleaked *cough* Man, my throat was all congested.
  9. Howdy Everyone: I've created a map with everyone's responses using Google Maps. I will update the map daily (or almost daily) with everyone's responses. Unfortunately, unlike previous maps in the past, you will not be allowed to plot where you are on your own. Just post the city you will be shopping! http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=100530997828741861964.000454e6ad55cb51a4af0&ll=38.959409,-97.119141&spn=31.883745,56.25&z=4 I only show your usernames. So far, it looks like OH is the most popular state here...
  10. We should have printouts of the deals you can be directed to from here in the port-a-potty as reading material.
  11. I got the sandwich this morning also, and mine had a slight pickle taste to it. I am not a huge fan of pickles, so I didn't really like it. It felt like the patty was too big for breakfast, and the almost hubby says it seems too small for lunch or dinner.
  12. Hmm worked for me, and I'm 27. Also, if you get the Sunday Newspaper with Parade or Life by USA Today, the same coupon was in there.
  13. We have the PS3. It wasn't even a contest in our house, because Mr. F doesn't play any FPS or other crazy games that look better on Xbox. He only plays sports games. The added bonus is that we use it as a Blu-Ray DVD player.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if that Circulon set at Costco is a "for Costco only" special and you won't find it on their website.
  15. You can try Macy's... these sales are only valid through Saturday. SPECIAL SAVINGS! 16. This will happen with any nonstick pan you buy. I think it even happens with the hard anodized ones. If you want to avoid this, you have to go stainless steel. If you go nonstick, just get a nonstick frying pan and plan on replacing it every few years.
  17. Maybe you're thinking of hhgregg? They emailed us the ad, and then told us to take it down. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=87541&highlight=hhgregg
  18. So, what is everyone buying?
  19. Is this Runescape? http://www.gamersinfo.net/articles/384-runescape As for Dawn of War: http://dawnofwar.filefront.com/info/Requirements I think the laptop is enough.
  20. That laptop is definitely enough for a 7th grader. Heck it's enough for most users, who only use their computers to surf the internet and type an occasional document.
  21. The cheap laptops will be fine. If he's not going to play any games that require intense graphics, it's more than enough.
  22. There are just way too many variables. Do you want a small compact one? Do you want a DSLR? Do you want a smallish camera with more manual features? Do you want a camera with more features, but not quite the size of a DSLR? How much do you want to spend? What kind of pictures do you want to take?
  23. Well this is my camera: Canon sd750 http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-SD750-Digital-Optical/dp/B000NK6J6Q/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1217093058&sr=8-1 It's pretty small, compact, with a nice large LCD screen. The SD1100: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-SD1100IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B0012YC7AE/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1217093127&sr=8-1 Still "only" 3x optical zoom, but another worthy pocket sized camera. For more zoom and features and not necessarily a higher price: Canon A590 http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-A590IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B0011ZCDKS/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1217093192&sr=8-1 There is also the A720 http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-A720IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B000V1VG2E/ref=pd_bbs_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1217093192&sr=8-3
