  1. I've merged the two layaway threads together. Please search before starting a new thread to see if we're already discussing it. Thank you for promoting board cleanliness. :)
  2. Anyone thinking of price matching on the day of: 1. Your BB may not have the customer service desk open that day for price matching. 2. All PM's have to be done during the sale hours 3. The combo may be a BF only deal, so you might not be able to find it out yet. Definite YMMV.
  3. You don't plug the card into the router, you plug the wireless adapter into the computer. Basically, you have two methods of connecting the computer to the internet: by cable or wirelessly. If you cannot run cable from the computer to where the wireless router is (since you can plug up to four computers into the router usually by ethernet cable), then you can connect wireless. You need to buy a wireless adapter. The easiest one to use is a USB adapter, which plugs into a USB slot on your computer, and then you run the set up from there to connect to your wireless router.
  4. That's a pretty good deal for one way for nearly 3000 miles.
  5. Please continue discussion in the above linked thread. Thread closed. Please search before posting a new thread to see if your thread has already been posted. Thanks!
  6. I think it's 9.99 regular price at Bed Bath and Beyond also for the PedEgg... and make sure to use your 20% coupon!
  7. Congrats! unfortunately I had to work today, and I was really tempted to get the table. I have the old, cheap Ikea table that is NOT stained or lacquered, and I had to purchase the two chairs separately. This was a monster deal.
  8. Come join us in the CVS Discussion in the offline deals section! All your questions will be answered there also. We CVS all year long!

  10. I have to work on Tuesday! Grr! I was really tempted to get the dining table + 4 chairs for only 59.99.
  11. The price will most likely be retail. Wii's are almost never discount. You have to hope they bundle it with other stuff to drop the price.
  12. Being that it's circuit city... it will have rebates on the laptops and computers I bet.
  13. Fry's is great, just examine the item you are purchasing and make sure it's not a return. There should be a sticker on there saying that it is.
  14. At least you were offered the chance to buy one. I was REALLY hoping for the Wii last year.
  15. Did it come out this week? The week's new releases are usually on sale at Best Buy or Target
  16. I went four years ago to BF at Fry's - after the morning doorbuster rush. I think my brother was ready to kill me when he saw the line. Even with every single register open, it still takes forever.
  17. I have a Canon SD750, which doesn't have a viewfinder. They have done something to the screen so that there isn't a glare. I haven't had any problems taking pictures in the sun with this camera.
  18. The A590 is an older camera that I usually don't see in the ads. Most of the "specials" I see on BF are for cameras I'd never purchase, such as a Kodak or other not so quality brand.
  19. Try the Canon A series of cameras. Canon A590 is cheap: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-A590IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B0011ZCDKS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1225689383&sr=8-1 The Canon A570 if you can still find it: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-A570IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B000NK3H4S/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1225689383&sr=8-4
  20. No, and repeated posts hurt our poor server... so posting within 10 seconds of each other might not be a great idea... you can always go back in and edit your post.
  21. If you want a cheap tree... try Big Lots. I have been for years trying to convince my husband to let me get a Christmas tree, but we never have anywhere to store it. A friend of mine got a cheap prelit tree from big Lots two years ago for 20 bucks. It's not great - it isn't very full, but it looks like a tree. Otherwise, go simple - find a wreath, hang it on your door. Maybe some Christmas lights in your window (mine faces out.) I'm going to find a tiny 2 foot tree and put it up on a table and then put presents on the floor below it. I can't wait until we can buy a house - I will officially be able to go all out.
  22. It's like me and yarn. Oooh if I only had room, the numerous skeins of yarn I could have... right now they're all squished in one plastic bin. I feel bad that they can't breathe.
  23. Hmm a super sale on yarn would be nice...
  24. I'm trying to think of a good enough story... hrm.
