I know how frustrating it can be. Last year I missed out on Black Friday because I had the flu so bad that I could not even sit up and order anything online! I also missed out on Thanksgiving dinner with my family. This year I was extra thankful...

My daughter also wants the blue one. Amazon has it for the same price that Michael's does. Ebay is around that price as well for a BIN. I will be keeping my eyes open for a better price.

I had emailed them about the flat iron and cosmetic bag to see if I could get a replacement. This is what they replied: Hello Paula, Thank you for contacting us. Your order was short shipped because we did not have enough of the Silk Elements Love Beauty Cosmetic Bag and the Mini Flat Iron in stock to fulfill your order at the time it was being processed and shipped. Unfortunately, our website does not update inventory on a "real-time" basis. At the time you placed your order, we still had the product in stock although we did not know exactly how many orders were pending in the warehouse for that item. By the time your order was being picked, packed, and shipped, there were no more in the online warehouse. Our system does not perform backorders, as we have a limited time during which our pre-authorization of your credit card is valid. So the item was cancelled from your order. As stated on the Shopping Information page of our website, coupon offers redeemed online are only good while supplies last and we do not offer rainchecks or substitutions. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Oh well, I'm still pleased with what I got..

I got the shipment confirmation email today and a package arrived today also. I got everything but the cosmetic bag and the flat iron. The packaging receipt gave me the impression they will be sent in another shipment as they are not at the warehouse the others were located. Oh well, If I dont get them, I'm not going to fuss. I'm pleased with what I got. My card hasn't been charged either...hmm wonder whats up with that????

That is a pretty good deal. Considering the Wii Fit set is more than $50. I believe on Thanksgiving Day, Walmart is going to have the Wii $199 with $50 gift card. Great for someone who doesnt want the Wii Fit.

After calling four local Radio Shacks, only one had them on sale. I was able to get two red DS at $89.97 each! This is so awesome! Thank you OP, it really saved me time from trying to get them on Black Friday!

I was recently thinking about all these "Pre Black Friday" sales. That really takes the fun out of the Black Friday shopping. Plus it confuses the buyers... For me it just brings on more frustration since I don't have time to shop before Black Friday! LOL Im too busy cooking, cleaning and prepping for Thanksgiving Day!

My Walmart is also open 24 hours and they give us a map too. Hubby and I love going there on BF. They will put all the pallets in the aisles covered with brown paper. On the paper they will write what is underneath. I really like this set up so we arent zig zagging all over the store looking for items. We stand by the items we want and then at five oclock they announce over the speaker to go ahead and rip the paper off. Some of the electronics are on the pallets and some require tickets. Its a pretty well organized set up.

My Walmart had this doll on display. Its really cute and does a lot of interactive things on the PC (Her eyes close, cheeks light up, talks and hair changes). After seeing the display, my daughter requested it. Im sure this will be one of the hot holiday toys.

Our Walmart had him on display and he is just adorable! Biscuit sounds and moves so much like the real thing. My girls absolutely love him. I am considering buying this dog for them since I wont buy them a real dog.

I had the same problem.. I ordered Playstation2 and DS games. One of the DS games was missing. I called CS and told them. I was on the phone forever with this gal. She had to get "authorization" from a supervisor to reorder the DS at the $9.99 BF sale price w/free shipping. I was told I would be reimbursed the cost for the 1st one. Well that was over a week ago. No reimbursement, DS game arrived and I was charged twice for the 2nd game but it did clear after the pending time which took forever. Now I wonder if I will even be reimbursed... OP I would call back and talk to someone else or a supervisor because you should be able to get the kit at the sale price.

Count me in on the disappointed bandwagon. We always shop Walmart first. I am surprised they don't have anything appealing! Walmart lost a lot of money in last years sales. I would think this year they would do something to bring the people in. Anyhow, I will be hitting a couple of other stores but not Walmart.. oh well...

Hubby gets what is called Profit Sharing. Its roughly around $900. He should be getting it next month. Yeah!! Sometimes they will give him a $100 for Christmas if the company has done well that year.

I am all done too. I finished up my shopping today. I was so tired when I came home! All I need to do now is wrap them. I even got the stocking stuffers. I'm going to give my debit card a rest now. LOL

I wasnt overly impressed either but I may grab a couple things now otherwise Im holding off to see what the BF sales have to offer.

They have a paper at the checkouts/Frontdesk to sign up for a Birthday registery. I did that with my girls and shortly after we got coupons in the mail and they also send out special coupons for the childs Bday. That might be something to check into. Hope that helps. :) Paula

I don't enjoy going to my in-laws either. They are the most stingy people I know. If they didnt give gifts to my hubby or me that would be fine but my kids are their only granddaughters and they get one gift per child. Sadly they play favorites but my parents make up for it! We love spending the holidays with them.

BF isnt BF without the whining while standing in line. "It's so cold!", "This sure is a long line!" or "What time is it now?" LOL

We have a store here in Ohio about two hours away. Hubby loves going there but I dont think it will be on our BF trip list.

I live in the Northeast part of Ohio..Sorta between Youngstown and Cleveland. We are pretty used to Blizzard type weather and stores or businesses are always open. Paula

I put the clothes in boxes and wrap everything else. I use bags for last minute wrapping. Last year I wrapped each of my daughters gifts in their own character wrapper. It really saved on the bows, tags and ribbons. However, I did use them on presents for other family members. I really wanted to wrap up Hubbys in some sort of hunter/outdoor/deer type of wrapping paper but couldnt find anything! Oh well. Anyway, My mom and I reuse all the bags and boxes. We just put them together and take what we need at wrapping time. Paula

Usually after I get home, I'm running around the house trying to find a place to hide everything. Can't keep it in the trunk...Kids are too smart for that. No time to wrap until they are back to school. Then I can get my nap in! Paula

I have the past couple of years and got some great deals. Hubby cooks the turkey and I'm off to hunt bargains. Yeah! Paula

Count me in too. I think they are cute. I still have the preemies from when I was little. I will be grabbing two for my girls at that price.
