Im 95% done with my kids. Just have to get a few more bigger items (2 game chairs and Gameboy SP). TV for the husband and I! Im usually done shopping on BF by 11am. Im very excited to see the ads this year! I still cannot believe its a month away

I would wait for the end of the season at Home Depot/Lowes if its just for looks. You'll save a lot. BTW, I got this 3 years ago (HUGE oak mantel fireplace-plug-in) and its great. Really heats up our downstairs living room

I bought mine at Lowes. Oak mantel one. It was $699, but we bought it at the end of the season and it was discounted to $299. If its just for looks, keep an eye out for price lowering.

I received a response from Walmart today about my email that was sent....Just told me that to see Black Friday specials see Walmart online on November 19th.

My yellow lab sleeps on her own faux fur comforter folded up at the foot of my bed. LOL. Tempting, but she loves her comforter! My 2 Rat Terriers sleep in bed with my husband and I so they're good. Seems like a good deal though. Pet beds can get pretty pricey

does the forum have a main database for all our emails when we registered? Is it possible to do a mass email w/ ad items? (thats for any store that threatens the site?) That way we still know the items, but its not posted. lol. There is always a loop hole in anything if you look/try hard enough :)

That is ridiculous. If they really thought about this whole thing through, they would realize that its BIG PUBLICITY for them in the long run. If we cannot be allowed to view the ad before Thanksgiving when the ads come out, I can only hope this secrecy is worth it. I will be greatly disappointed if the ad is junk this year! If you cannot post the ad Brad, I understand. You don't want to ruin the business side of your partnership with Walmart. I usually always go to Kmart on Thanksgiving, however, last year's ad was disappointing. Didn't go out for the first time in like 7 years last year.

This will be the second year that there is no KB Toys around me. They closed the last one. I always went there on BF so bit disappointed

I honestly don't have a spending limit or amount of gifts set. I go by their lists and what catches my fancy. (haha). We bought too much already, but all well. My oldest will be 13 next month. His stuff is pretty expensive. My daughter is 7. She would be happy with anything Hannah Montana and girlie stuff (purses, makeup, perfume, etc). Top of her list is a portable game system so have to be on the lookout for that on BF. Im having a hard time with my son this year. He'll be 13 and really has too much to begin with. Im running out of new things for me to get him. haha (he already owns: PS1, PS2, X-box, Gamecube, nintendo 64, Gameboy Sp, and PSP, computer w/ printer, electric guitar w/ amp, stereo system, I-pod, cell phone, etc). A lot of the stuff though my mom goes nuts and buys for him on a whim. The only thing he has asked for was the guitar hero. I already got that. He also wants a new gaming chair. Hopefully there will be one on BF. Although I still can't figure out whats wrong with the one he has!

I didn't know they added another concert for Cleveland, Ohio. I would have tried to buy them. My daughter is sick. Of course the whole arena sold out in 8minutes. WOW

weekend of Thanksgiving. Thats the earliest my husband will let me. Yes, hes a grinch. Hates all the hauling of christmas stuff into the house. I love it, but he dreads it so much. LOL.

3 years ago I was mooned while in line at TRU. A bunch of teenagers came down in their car, slowed down and pulled their pants down. LOL. About 25 of us were in line at this time. If anything, I got a chuckle.

I always buy a toy if its on sale at a good price. though I wish every toy my kids wanted would be on sale on BF you can't depend on it. Hence why Im 95% done christmas shopping. Nowadays it seems stores rely on electronic sales to boost their profits. Toys have taken a step behind. thankfully people find great deals on Gottadeal and thats why I buy throughout the year.

We are thinking about a new TV for the bedroom. LCD minimum size is 36". If BB or anywhere else has them at a great price, my husband will go out (first time he will experience the lines. LOL). I always go to Walmart first as they price match. I usually get most of my shopping done then. This is the first year though that Im almost done BEFORE BF.

Haven't seen any good deals on the newest ones. I bought my son the Fly Pen when they were on clearance for 39.00.

Hannah Montana stuff- I finally found the twin comforter for my daughter for christmas. Seems twin is hard to find. Hannah montana star stage. Sold out at both my Walmarts. Hannah Montana dolls - plenty of the one but found 1 of 2 concert dolls that were at the second Walmart (singing one that plays Best of Both Worlds)

Haven't really found anything at my Target. Did find my daughter some underwear for .51 a pair (looks like Bobby jack monkey ones! her favorite). And I also found her some little girl bras - clearanced to 1.24 for 2 pairs (one white and one lavender and pink)

We got smart 2 years ago and bought a new 7ft PRE-LIT tree. LOL
