Everything I needed this year was there. No running around and searching. Usually there is that one gift thats a pain in the butt to find, but this year was easy for me. Maybe because my kids are getting older and their lists consisted of electronics, gift cards, clothes, etc. Basics. The only thing that was a tad hard to find being in Ohio was Michigan Wolverine slippers for my husband and sleeper pants, but found them online with a super discount (thanks for the members who had helped). (he grew up in Michigan till a teenager so still has his michigan roots firmly in place- OSU and MSU game is always so much fun here lol).

yes, the younger brother is your baby. She could at least buy him a small token. Its now a joke (what else can you do but laugh) between my husband and I to guess how many presents she bought him... She always says its because he doesn't do as well as my husband and I. Thats bull because he bring in over $55 K a year. And hes single.

My mother in law has NEVER bought a gift for my husband nor myself.... Every year we watch his brother open a gift while we sit.. We've never said anything, but I've always wondered why she always skipped my husband (I never expect anything for myself). I just feel bad for my husband. We've been married for 10 years and for 10 years we've watched his single brother open 3-4 gifts from her. Sad really. My husband the first year we were married bought me a sexy pajama set. It was so small I looked at him and said only with a tummy tuck and full lipo. lol. Im a xlarge and he got me a small. lol

Ohio... COLD and windy today. Some snow left from last night but husband just got back and roads are fine...

Every year we go to my MIL house. Thats when we celebrate christmas with her. Exchange gifts and have a nice dinner. Then we come home by 7pm or so. Everyone gets their showers and Pjs on. Then I make popcorn and we watch A Christmas Store on TBS. The marathon starts at 8pm so we make sure we don't watch it until then.

My mom just brought my daughter to Build a bear sunday. She picked out two animals and two outfits.... When we got home and opened the boxes, cashier put in more coupons for us! Expiration isn't until late 2009... Plus because of what my mom spent, we qualified for $10 giftcards for 1/ 2 price. ... So my mom got $20 worth of GCs for $10 (to save for her birthday).

Target has the full sized ones on sale this week for 12.99. Nice variety at mine. My daughter is already getting too many so I passed.... Saw the christmas moose one and its adorable.

Check Walmart. their fragrance sets are very reasonable. They have all the stetson sets, adidas sets, etc. I always buy a bunch after christmas too- 50% off. I don't think they ever go bad. I just opened a set I bought the day after last christmas and it smells super. I store them in a tote in my closet for future gifts.
