Yes, being that tall has its advantages! I remember standing in line at Gray Drug when the Cabbage Patch Kids were the craze. Mom was so sweet she let me go into school late as we had to line up by 7am to get them. I got the cutest red head. There was shoving, but we got her! Oh, Im 30!! LOL. Dont want to hear any of that late 30s stuff!!!

You would think if TRU wanted to win this years "toy war" with Walmart, they would have tons of super deals on toys. Also price match to get that edge over Walmart. Guess they do want to go under as their ad was pretty bad!

A new family vehicle would be great. We have a truck and a mini-van, but the mini-van is the main family transporter. Its seen its better days but we don't have enough money right now to get another one.

I couldn't even count how many times people ask if I really want that particular color etc of the toy!! DUH, its in my cart. One year a father actually tried to get this one toy out of my cart. I turned my back for a sec to reach up and grab something else and this husband and wife were actually in my cart! Needless to say I got in back though. LOL. Yes, 5'10 has its advantages. Im the most passive person you would want to meet, but the height is pure intimidation!!

Toys R Us opens earlier and earlier every year. Used to open at their appointed 6am time. Then in the last 2 yrs, 5:30am and now last year they opened at 5am to compete with the KB Toys line that wrapped around the mall. Mad be mad because I always timed it where I was first in line at KB, got out of there by 5:20 and zoomed right down the street to TRU. Not anymore as they open at 5am now.

Im excited too! The KB Toys add is what Im waiting for and also Target. I didnt see much at Walmart or TRU so those stores are my only hope! I may go into TRU just for the Super Art Chest as my daughter loves to draw and color, but thats about it.

My Walmart still wants $39 for the Black and White ones! I bought my kids the color systems last week. I figured if it was the color ones on sale, I'll just get it price matched as I bought it at Walmart.com or return if I get those. But an employee at my Walmart did tell me the sale was for the B and W ones. Hopefully she was wrong though. I bought two systems so it would sure save me some money! With the 12 PVDs I bought to go with them I have tons of money in those gifts alone!

I go by myself every year and stand until some other group comes and make conversation. Its always me and the other moms (sometimes dads) at KB Toys. Im a talker and every year so far we all talk about our kids, their lists, and what we are going for in KB. Its fun. I don't dare bring coffee like I would want to as I KNOW I would have to go to the bathroom. So stuck it up in the cold and wait till it opens. Its amazing how fast 4 hours go when you make new friends!

I got to KB Toys every year and if Im not there in line by 1am then Im at least 10th or more in line. The store opens at 5am. Of course maybe earlier if they have good sales for toys as everyone will come there instead of TRU

My walmart is 24 hours that I go to but I have another one 20 minutes away that opens at 6am. Kohls/bestbuy in my area is also 6am. Target was 7am, but last year was 6am to compete with the other stores. I go to kb toys that opens up at 5am

I went to Kmart last year to get the $5 Nickalodeon GBA games. I was second in line and got all of them except Power Puff Girls. (My son wouldn't have been excited about that one)!

I use mine on a daily basis. Get up at 7am with the kiddies. Go directly downstairs, start the coffee, get the kids ready and off to school and pour me a big ole cup of coffee! My morning rictual

Honestly, I think most of my purchases for the kids will be from regular price or pre-BF sales. Im almost done and I got a lot from Walmart.com. Don't have to leave the house and right now its only .97 shipping.

I bought my appliances from Sears several months ago and they had free shipping with rebate. Not bad in the turn around either. I bought my appliances. Once delivered they game me the paperwork, got the codes from them, and sent in rebate. It was less than 4 weeks and I got my $50 back. Plus haul away fee. (that is usually on rebate too from sears).

I need a new coffee maker too! I bought mine last year at Walmart. Not the best, but it was only $4.77 and Im the only one who drinks coffee so it was good for me. Not the best quality, hence I need a new one this year! I was hoping Walmart would have the same ones or close to it to last me till next year. (Of course at that price I should have bought 2 of them like my parents did)

Debbie, now thats ridiculous! I know I would have said some choice words! I never push, pull, yell, or whatever. If I get it great. If I didn't, my kids didn't need it anyway! Not worth the hassle. (Its a trend for me, only once in the 4 yrs of BF shopping have I bought something for myself. Just the kids shopping day for christmas). Of course Im 5'10 and if someone wanted to have a tug a war, thats their stupidity! LOL

I would add Best Buy to my list to go, but the organization is horrible at mine. Products are everywhere except where they should be, and checkouts are ridiculous. Do you believe last year there was only 6 girls checking out? 4 registers were closed. Poor management if you ask me.

my JC Penny does have sales on BF. My mall is odd as that the stores don't open till 7am. KB Toys is the only "mall" store that opens early. 5am. So the workers and security guards have to walk us to the store inside the mall.
