Most people think Im gross, but I love to buy an extra box of candy canes and store them for the following year. LOL. They get real soft and they are like peppermint chews. My husband gags when I open them and start munching. God I hope Im not the only one. Haha

I love craft shoes. I go to tons every christmas. Especially the school one. The crafters are so creative with the school stuff. Love the wreathes too. I buy one almost every year for the front door

When you do put up your christmas tree, do you use candy canes? Its a big argument in my house as my husband hates them. He says its makes it look stupid! I love it and so does the kids. Of course my dog does too so the bottom can't have any! My friend puts the traditional cranberries etc on hers. Do you use the regular bulbs or go all out on your trees with bows etc. I would love some ideas to decorate different this year. I also use tinsle which also drives my husband nuts. He hates tinsle. Especially the clean up!

I may try a pic with my digital camera. My cousin always takes her own and has them copied. With the pricing of digital pics,, paying $9.99 is still good. Although the hassle of making sure everyone stays clean on the way to the studio wouldn't be missed. LOL

The little gifts in the stockings I do. The kids get so excited unwrapping the little things. My daughter's wrapped items will be the jewelry set I bought her and perfume. The rest like little toys/candy won't be though. I try to put in 2 or 3 little wrapped gifts

I want to get those icicle lights for the front of the house. I go all out on the inside of my house, but not too much on the outside. My husband always complains that it would be too much electricity. LOL. It couldn't be that much

I put a pic in each christmas card I send out. I have tons. Wallets are a must for that! So I have to get the big portrait package.

The videoNow color systems are nice too. My son and daughter each got one last year and they love them! Especially on road trips. I love them too as they sell headsets for them :)

Christmas is mine too. I don't really decorate for Halloween. Except a door decoration, but christmas I go all out! I love it! I have to buy a new tree topper this year as my husband broke ours last year putting it away.

Is he into science at all? TRU has nice science sets for older boys 10+ Also a cute metal detector that would be fun. Thats on my son's list too. Model cars is another item on my son's list (my son is 10 so around the same age as yours!)

My son never got into Legos. My daughter does, but my son never did. The only building toys he likes is the bionicles.
