  1. We usually end up at RS, OM, OD at some point on BF, but so far they haven't been our first place or only places to shop on BF.
  2. We usually get home between noon - 2pm. When we leave depends on where we are going first.
  3. Jeans or shorts (depending on the temps), t-shirt & jacket. Umbrellas & ponchos in the car, in case of rain. Jacket comes off right before entering, and gets tossed in the cart.

    Washers & Dryers

You're welcome :) I was able to figure out the model numbers and cu. ft.: Washer - FWSB7800DS - 3.0 Cu. Ft. Dryer - FERB7800DS - 5.7 Cu. Ft. If you need more info Google or Dogpile the model numbers. You can search for the product manuals at www.frigidaire.com by clicking 'Customer Service', then 'Product Manuals'.
  5. One car load... packed very carefully
  6. I'll admit to the fanny pack. Only comes out for BF and theme park visits, though... License, credit card, small amount of cash, cell phone, ads, pen, marker, asprin. The basics :) I really like the binder idea. Gonna give that a try this BF.
  7. Chat with others, play cards, listen to music, watch movies...
  8. We got ours in 2002 at K-Mart. It's a 7 ft, multi-color lights with rotating stand. Picked it up on sale, after BF, for about $60. Nice tree.
  9. Had to give in a replace my folding chairs this year. My SO is a big guy and finding heavy duty chairs isn't easy. But Sam's had some, in store, weight capacity: 350 lbs, for $16 each. He now has his new *big boy* chair...

    Washers & Dryers

I can't make out the model numbers or BB item numbers from the 2005 ad (scan wasn't very clear), but here are the item descriptions: 15-Cycle Super Capacity Plus Washer - 7 temp settings, auto temperature control, infinate water levels, DuraFinish surface. 11-Cycle Moisture Sensor Electric Dryer - Precision Dry prevents overdrying your clothes. With wrinkle-reducing press-saver cycle. 4 temp settings and drying rack. Hope this helps...

    Washers & Dryers

I still have last years Best Buy ad that shows the Frigidaire washer/dryer combo for $499. The washer was a top loader. The Frigidaire front loader pair in the same ad was $749.99 for the washer and $599.99 for the dryer, after the $300 savings on the dryer for buying the pair.
  12. Sam's Club had some Xmas items out last month. The few nights ago on TV there was a commercial with holiday type music and snowflakes falling. The first Publix holiday commercial. Not even October yet...
  13. No Kohl's in my immediate area. But depening on the BF ads, if they had something I was looking for, at a great price, I'd certainly give them a try and make the drive...
  14. I only use credit cards or my check card on BF. I'm hesitant about carrying large amounts of cash with the crowds that BF generates.
  15. Brownies selling brownies. Yep, I'd buy some :)
  16. Sanford, FL... unless Best Buy or Circuit City builds stores closer to home before Xmas :)
  17. About a week before Christmas. No prying eyes, as we have no children at home. But a few years ago I wrapped early, placed them under the tree and awoke to shredded wrapping. Seems the cat didn't understand there was still a week to go...
  18. Eat, then sleep. Sometimes sleeping while eating

    BF strategies..

Our strategy was to find a Best Buy next to *any* store that was open 24 hrs, to be able to use the restroom... Luckily, located a Best Buy next to a Wal-Mart Supercenter. Nothing worse than, after waiting in line for hours, having your first stop once you get into *insert store name here* be the restroom!
  20. Great idea. I'd love to be able to print a transfer and iron it on the back of a hooded, zippered sweatshirt. Even thought I'm in Florida the overnights here in November can be quite cool, and a jacket/sweatshirt is necessary for the obligatory 'sit-in'. An 'authorized' high resolution graphic of the GD logo would be perfect! Maybe even a BF themed GD graphic, for the folks interested in something BF/GD specific.

    people watching

We people watch, as well. Last year a two women arrived and one of them couldn't believe the line was across the front and down the side of the building. This was about 3am! One of the women was quite eager to get into the line. The other... let just say she was not quite as eager... Yes, they were first timers. They were still in line as we left the store! Your first BF really gives you an education.
  22. For BF 2005 it would be the $149 desktop at Best Buy. For BF 2002 it would be the 32" stereo TV for $299 (great price, at the time), also at Best Buy.
  23. Has anyone heard if McDonalds will have the Monopoly Game promotion for Best Buy Bucks again this year?
  24. Orlando area. Missing CompUSA, Office Depot, Kohls.
  25. I'm in the Orlando area where there are 2 CompUSA's. The Orlando Sentinel didn't have the CompUSA ad. I thought my copy was just missing the ad but perhaps not. Sure glad I saved the ad from GottaDeal!
