I was at my Walmart by 2am. ALL BF Blitz items were out on pallets across the front of the registers. Even at 2am, we were allowed to take all BF 5-11am items into our cart, just have to wait till 5am to checkout. Laptops were the only thing NOT available at that time (they held those back and passed them out at 5am). Very orderly

My $150 is sounding pretty good! My husband should read this thread then he wouldn't complain I spent $150. (He complained because I already over bought for my daughter and our nieces and nephew). BUT with the deals, I went over board again this year!

Target gets my vote for best place to shop BF this year
Mommie2one replied to orangedaisy's topic in 2005
I bought the Target GBA bundle for $68 on Wednesday. For some reason they were coming up BF price. The electronics manager allowed me to purchase one. So I was able to bypass Target because of it -
The fly wheels went quick. I got a two pack for $5 for my nephew. No one was really buying the Cinderella dress up set either. stack really never went down. The $9 Bratz dolls sold out QUICK. I got one of them as my daughter already has 10 Bratz dolls.

Good grief. There was 2 pallets of these barbies too. One Pink and One blue or purple. can't remember the other color besides pink. I had one in my cart (pink outfit one) but decided to put it back.

I only went to Walmart as they price matched all the other stores items. I believe my grand total was only $150 or so. Great as I had a full cart, but almost all was BF deals. (I didn't need to buy any big ticket items such as computers, printers, etc)

My Walmart out done themselves. Allow all the BF shoppers in the store at 1:30am to get any BF item from the pallets and put them in our carts. Only the Laptops were not available. $398 desktop computers on pallets, tvs, Portable Dvd/Cd players, toys, etc. No running or pushing to get items. I got to shop peacefully and w/o pressure. Price matched all my items. (Walgreens lipsticks, coffee, and detergents). Every register open. Got out of there quickly and cops in parking lot. One walked me as I was alone. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for the first BF

I wish I knew about this. I would have picked them up for you guys. Literally, my Walmart had 2 HUGE pallets of CPK. I checked out and maybe 20 if that were missing. Same with the CareBears. No one wanted them here. They were grabbing the LeapPad, VideoNow Color, and Light Sabers. Though I thought they looked cheapy to me

Wow. I am so glad I bypassed the big electronic stores. I did go by Target and kmart on the way home this morning. they both opened at 6am. Not sure if it was because of lack of good sales or weather, but Target only had about 25 people in line and Kmart has 5, YES 5 in their line at 5:20am. I was at the light next to kmart and counted. Only a few cars in the lot. At Office Max, NO ONE was in line. Its was closer to 5:30am.

I didn't have a line at Walmart this morning as they were open 24 hours and I was walking around getting my BF items (allowed up to take stuff off the pallets, just not check out till 5am. Had my whole blitz list by 2am). But I did talk while waiting to checkout

LOL, I didn't see one Garth Brooks cd set in anyones cart. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind him, but they had a HUGE display and nothing was missing

Are you in line now?
-
Wow. I hope that poor lady is alright. The Walmart I went to (besides the great policies for us early bird shoppers) was relatively dead up until 4:30 or so. I was waiting to be checked out and I was watching the stream of people coming in. Dead from the time I got there (2am) till 4:30am. I took my time, read boxes and wasn't rushed at all. Im so glad I went to that location

Before going to Walmart last night or should I say earlier this morning at 2am, I passed BB. The line was literally 100++ people at 1:30am. After leaving Walmart, I passed Target on the way home. It was 5:15am by this time and I would say 15-20 people ONLY were in line. Parking lot was empty

PM the lipstick too! .99 for Revlon is so Cheap!
-
Some stores will, some won't. I PM an online item last year, but had to go to a different Walmart as the one I usually go to wouldn't. You need to call your local Walmart to make sure. Not sure if its up to the manager or if policies changed in a year

Still awake. Been up since Wednesday morning! Weird thing is- Im not as tired as I thought. Finishing up my coffee here and crashing for a bit. Happy with my purchases and first BF experience

Im so glad I went to the Massillon Walmart then. Guess this experience was rare? My first BF so Im thankful it went so well. Had a great time. Tired, but shopping for my daughter and nephew is DONE.

I am in Canton, Ohio. I went to the massillon walmart as the canton one closed yesterday at 7pm and wasn't opening their doors again till 5am. I wasn't about to wait out in the -2 degree weather.

Just got back from walmart. I got there by 2am. I didn't need a laptop, but there was a line already of at least 30 deep. Our Walmart got 60 laptops in for the sale. Parking lot pretty slow though. Only one entrance open (this is a 24 hour one that reopened at midnight so we could go in out of the cold!). Anyway, I get into the store and every BF Blitz toy item was on pallets right in front of the registers. An announcement was made every 1/2 hour telling us shoppers that we could take the BF items from the pallets at any time, but couldn't check out till 5am. No running or stampeding for items. I loved it. I got the mens jeans, sleep pajamas, Wild West Bratz, Coffee Maker, Batteries, GBA games (also price matched a few games for me), Bionicles (price matched too), Portable DVD player, and fly wheels. They were lined up one after another. So convenient and orderly. They even price matched my Walgreens items-Coffee, detergent, and lipstick. Ad wasn't supposed to start at Walgreens till 7am, but they said no problem on PMing now. It only took me 20 minutes to gather everything and from there I met a lot of other moms. It was a lot of fun. Of course several other items went into my cart since I had a couple of hours to spare! 4:30am I lined up in front of a register (ALL registers were opened) and by 5am sharp I checked out. I got out of there by 5:10am. This was my first BF and I am so impressed how they handled everything. Wish I had more stores to go to , but the rest I either PM'd at Walmart or bought online yesterday!
