In previous years, I'd get home around 11am-ish. With what DH and I want to do/get this year, I imagine we won't be back until noon or 1pm at least.

It should be one of DH's paid holidays. If they mandatory it (which they can), then .. that's how it goes! Since he works later in the day, I won't miss out. I hope he can go though!

If you catch a sale on appliances at Sears, that may be a good bet. We've shopped there for appliances before after scouring for the best prices. Not a W&D, but other appliances anyway. :)

That's great! DH gets his quarterly bonus the third Friday in October. I'm pleading with him to not spend it (like he usually does, which I never say anything any other times!). I know he'd enjoy going out on BF and spending more than $50 like before, lol.

One car easily - a van with the third seat removed provides PLENTY of cargo space (but then, we don't buy TV's on BF either, lol).

Safeway and Fred Meyer (in Oregon anyway) have it for $1.99/gallon.

We do T-Day dinner at my Mom's or MIL's. I forget who will do it this year. Anyway, we then do our own T-Day the following day, just for DH, myself and the kiddies.

Picasa is a very nice yet basic image tool you can download for free. I too recommend Photobucket for hosting the pictures.

If going for a DSLR, I'd suggest a Nikon D50 which runs about $550 new. DH had a Nikon D70 (D70 is no longer in production, but a D70s is). He spent around $1200 for the kit from Best Buy in May '04. He just sold it a month or so ago and upgraded to the Nikon D200. But so far we both love Nikon, though I also love Canon (their Powershot line) and Olympus.

If it's delivery only, why weren't they available for you? It doesn't even ask for my zip until the absolute last checkout page (where you hit submit order). Delivery is $7.95 (figured out before I entered my address even).

Do you have Internet Explorer? Go to Tools, Internet Options, and click "Delete Cookies" then Okay. Restart PC for good measure. Does it still do it then?
