  1. Those little animal flashlights are $1.99 each with any purchase http://www.littletikes.com/toys/Toys-List.aspx?Page=1&ProductCategory_ID=70&Description=SPECIALS
  2. ROSSMAN -- you are totally cool... tho I mentioned all this to him, and thru his percocet haze, he mumbled "42-inch would be better" -- methinks he's using this "pain stuff" to eek out a few more inches (and we all know how much a few inches means to you guys... :giggle: ) *sigh* We're liking the Olevia as well (apparently the air force uses them a lot for briefings etc) -- hhgregg had them for $1399, but I found them cheaper online; my only issue is finding a reputable company online...so many have "issues" in their reviews. I thank you for your help and apparently will keep searching (now for a 42")...
  3. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4381801 Trying to figure out if this is a decent deal -- I'd ask DH, but he had PRK done on both eyes today, so the computer screen is a bit out of reach for his level of recovery...lol! Thanks -- I miss my techno-geek!!
  4. Thanks -- I tried those too...figured it couldn't hurt, but they didn't work. BLAST!! Sorry for the wrong forum thing....I've been gone a while; we moved half way cross country (again) so my brain is fried
  5. I have an aunt on Cape Cod who goes up every year for that sale...we laugh b/c she gets christmas cards from llbean every year, and we imagine when she walks in they go "hey Jane!! Here's your coffee, just the way you like it, and we're so glad to see you again!!" -- and then we joke they had to hire a "samantha" (from Las Vegas) to escort her around....
  6. Ok, so we flew on airtran and they have xm satellite...I have to say, I'm likin it...LOL -- So I was thinking about possibly getting it for me...and it seems that the prices are the same for sirius or xm, they both seem to be doing the same offers on rebates etc. and the main difference is how many channels they offer, did I get that right or am I missing something? Sirius only advertised (to my knowledge) 65 channels...whereas xm has 160 channels... anything else I need to know?

I didn't cancel anything, so then I wondered about my security etc...so I called, and they said "oh, no. When your order made it to the processing center, they were out of inventory" -- so basically, I'm SOL on this one...way to go Old Navy...duh.
  8. Scored a KILLING in there today (williamsburg prime outlets) -- almost all the outerwear was 70% off -- bought the penobscot parka (orig $129) for $35-ish Same thing on the Rugged Ridge Parka -- $114 for $35-ish -- all fleece pullovers and zip up jackets orig $39.95 for $6-ish -- merino wool cable knit sweaters (mock t-neck with split neck) orig $59.95 for $5.98...flannel PJs orig $19.95 for $5-- I was one happy chiquita...
  9. I went into Kohls and they didn't have any in stock -- the only one they had was the $113 set, so I went to customer service and they gave me a raincheck -- she said they're always out of it...lol. She put the price as $66.66 so I'll have to ask about the other 10% off -- was that with a kohls card?
  10. same up here on the peninsula...my DH has his eye on something called an "Alien"? *sigh*
  11. I agree -- we're in the same area (peninsula) and I know for a fact that my favorite choco chip pancakes are never discounted!! LOL! However, the smaller businesses usually do if you ask (like the mom and pop shops) -- I've taken to always asking b/c a lot of them even if they don't, will say yes and give you 10% regardless b/c they know it's good for business...and some of them just never really thought about it until you asked, kwim?
  12. DANGIT DANGIT DANGIT!!! I'm sorry -- mods please feel free to snicker and laugh at me...wrong forum...can someone move this? I looked for the option to edit and actually remove/move the post, but couldn't find it...sorrrrry...
  13. I remember a post similar, but not sure I've seen such a consolidated listing as this one -- also cannot verify every one of them but it's worth calling/checking/asking. This was sent to me in an email...and I apologize if I'm breaking some protocol or something...hope not Here is a short list of places that offer military discounts. Please call your local vendors to be sure they participate in the program. Also, never be afraid to ask a store if they offer a discount, even if one is not advertised. You may be pleasantly surprised. 14. See, I have been to Gloucester once for the daffodil festival last year...it was hurricane-rain! LOL. So we haven't been back since. LOL. Tadpoles has changed hands three times since I've been here...I consigned a buttload of stuff, and got a whopping $11 back, but that was different management...when they were still in the food lion shopping plaza. Now they're down across from TruValue and next to Ken Matthews garden center.
  15. I was wondering if that would be my best bet...every time I see one of those things I wonder...LOL. I will check all of the mentioned sites -- thanks guys!
  16. That's funny, b/c I don't know the denbeigh area very well...I know the hampton/Yorktown area better -- getting my feet wet southside a bit here and there, but see no point in messing with the Gods of the HRBT if I don't need to...LOL. My neighbor was telling me that the denbigh one is a bit "sketchy" -- she'd never been to the coliseum one (which is odd, b/c they grew up in the FoxHill/Buckroe area, but married shipyard workers, so maybe that's why?) -- PS -- there's a nice second hand children's store opening near you -- it's called Tadpoles and it's currently located on 17 North of Victory, but she's opening a second location on denbigh...good stuff, pretty decent prices too
  17. Yep, I went to the one on coliseum that day...kinda scary place, but good deals; I bought a few of those bowls for $1 each and a chip/dip plate for $2...spent $12 and got four bowls, the chip/dip thing, a sweater for me($1) a skirt for me ($4.99) and something else I can't remember...lol...
  18. we have one here in southeast va too -- never been there, and apparently will change that today...lol!
  19. Cheapest I've found is $189 at Kohls...anyone know where I can find cheaper? Thanks!
  20. My kohls is pretty new (opened last spring) so there's not a whole lot on the racks yet when clearance hits...it's like that with Ross too-- the "old" ross has great clearance, but the "new" Ross that opened a few months ago has nothing worth going in for...much less dragging two kids...LOL. Maybe we'll check out Kohls, even tho no one needs anything...
  21. Ok ,now this is just weird...I went to the website, went onto the maternity page, looked in the intimates/loungewear and their underwear is marked UP...WTF?! The black print is $12.50, lined thru and in red bold it says $14.99 LOL -- what is goin on there??!! :runaway:
  22. Me too -- I loaded a maternity sweater into my cart and it said $14.99
  23. "Online Hot Deals" -- could you not get to it? I'll try to link it
