  1. Same here. They hand them out with the doorbuster tickets.
  2. No disrespect intended, But I hope a lot of people feel the same way!
  3. Based on my past experiences, I would not worry about camping out for one of the non doorbuster computers. In fact I would not get there for at least a couple hours after the doors open. At our store the aisles are roped off and almost all availible sales associates in computers are trying to get the blitz items and people out the door. But this is my opioion. Welcome to Gottadeal !
  4. Ours in Alpharetta hasn't in a couple of years.
  5. Last year I was 2nd in line. On my list was the 30" wide screen HD Insignia T.V. for 299.98. In the mass confusion when the doors opened,I was directed to the wrong area to pick up the tv. When I finaly got to the right area, they were all gone!(only 3 per store) I talked to a manager who remembered me from the line out front. I calmly explained what had happened and he offered to look to see if there were any left in the system. He found 24 sitting at distribution center! He sold me one for the sale price and I picked it up the following Tues. It wasn't a doorbuster just a limited qty item. So if I don't see anymore of something, YES I will ask to see if there are more at the warehouse. Always ask for a manager. I have always found that BB wants my business and has helped me in the past. Knock on wood! LOL
  6. If it is part of the 4 day sale, they will appear back online T-Day. Doorbusters won't. At least thats what happened here last year. And Welcome!
  7. Just got back from the one near me. Everything was wrapped in black plastic and lined up to the right of the front door. I did see that there were 18 of the $189 emachines stacked on a pallet that were not wrapped in the computer section. The boxes were pretty plain but they had T3522 and a pic on the side of thebox but no indepth specs listed. And yes the deal comes in 3 boxes. Thought I would share info hope this helps.
  8. At the BB near me they gave out maps of the store. 2 lanes were roped off, one was for the computer corral and the other sent you out into the store. To check out they would wind you thru the appliances and near the check out they had all the small doorbusters, mp3 players and such. Just hand over the ticket for that small item and you were off to checkout.
  9. Sound advise! It should not be a problem as long as all 3 of you don't wind up in line together when the door opens!
  10. It should be good to go out of the box. You will want to get more memory, from newegg .com or esle where. It is real simple to install. Don't let them sell you anything. Well maybe a surge protector. You will want to neutralize some of the fluff software like AOL 9.0and such. I did that last year but forgot how. Maybe Stationchief or BigJimSlade can cover that info. They seem to know their stuff. I hope this helps.....and by the way...... to Gottadeal !!
  11. Here is a sample from last year http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=49435
  12. Also got 26 issues of Rolling Stone and 2 months napster. Have to look close though, I almost threw them out.
  13. Thanks for the post, no offense, but I treasure my childs pictures. Thats the only way I can find my refrigerator. That maddox character needs a life. Not flaming you of course.
  14. Thats what we did. took the letters to post office, got letters from santa in 2 days.
  15. Our Methodist church has 4 services(each has different type of presentation) but all are candlelight on Christmas eve. and 2 on Christmas day. we try to attend one of the eve. services. It really sets things into perspective.
  16. All I could find was the "best of" and holiday edition at amazon.com. The complete series hasn't been released on DVD yet.
  17. Since kids grow so fast and most of the clothes deals are "out of season" we try to estimate the correct size months in advance. With that said, the gifts from Mom & Dad are always clothes, we leave the tags on in case of exchange. Those we all open Christmas Eve. Santa brings toys and such (no clothes) and leaves around tree for Christmas Morning about 4:30!
  18. Neat Idea! I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the idea.
