The Walmart Carebears thread made me think of this. I thought maybe people could post what they were unable to get and maybe people that have extras could help. Just a thought. Or you could post your extras to sell. I could not get the sheets from Sams. I need a Queen and they only had King.

Great idea. I has a wonderful experiance at our Walmart. They served Coffee at 4 and had people all over the store just to answer the "Where is ....." questions.

I saw a few babies too. It wasn't that cold here (maybe 50*) but still. I also saw a couple that had an air matress, and another group that brought a 27" TV and a X-Box. They were watching some war movie way to loud.

I was in line at 1:15 for Carebears and Cabbage Patch Kids. I was able to get 2 of each, one for DD and one for my best friends DD. I was the third person in the toy section.

I got to walmart at 1:15am and there were already at least 50 people in line. When the doors opened at 5 most went to electronics for the laptop while I went to toys. I grabbed 2 RC Cars, 2 Cabbagepatch Kids, 2 Little People, 2 Carebears, a dress-up kit, and some board games to PM. I was the first to check out and was pulling out of the parking lot at 5:23am. Off to Sams for the sheets then to Sears for the comforter. Sears only had ugly ones so off to B&BW. Got the walflowers then off to Pennys for the globe. Radoi Shack was out of the blue tooth thing but oh well. Target was much slower then I expected at 7:15. Then I came home and went to sleep. I was in bed by 8:30.

I have to work T-Giving night. I will get off at about 1am. I will make a pit stop at CC on my way to Walmart. A friend is going to meet me at Walmart and hopefully bring some food. Then its a mad rush..... Walmart, Sams, BB, Sears and maybe KB.

What ever happened to the Garfield Christmas Special? I used to love that one. He had a Holloween one too.

Our boys are 18 mo. apart. We normally buy them the same items but in different colors. Sant will bring them a large item to share and an item of their choice, reguardless of the cost difference.

Always. I store them in a box and use them for for gifts all year. I am also known to buy b-day gift 6 mo. in advanced if I find the right item on sale. Some say I am cheap. Others say I am prepaired. I say I am cheap!! :2dollar:

I would cut out the UPC and tell them why. Everyone I know knows I do not have a lot of money.

Christmas to me means time with friends and family. I like watching the kids play with their cousins, hearing my grandma complain about the dishes and, listening to my mom fight with her sisters. We have our traditions and tell storys of when we were young. We eat WAY too much and have leftovers for a week.

:) I will be at Walmart and am available to rent. (Hey if I can make money for being there anyways):)

Why couldn't I think of that. You know some idiot is going to buy it too. I wonder if they will just get the link to this web site or if it will have gottadeal.com whited out like in the picture.

I have only done BF twice. The first time Mom was with me and she held the line while I put the chairs and blankets in the car about 15 min. before opening. The second time I asked the person behind me if they mimded holding my place while I went to the car. Most people in line are really nice. And when you are sitting next to someone for 2 hours you tend to chit-chat a bit.

I had someone at walmart be rude to me yesterday. I had 2 tires replaced there last month and I had a flat yesterday morning. DH tried to change it but they screwed on the lugs too tight so we removed the razor that punctured it and put in fix-a-flat. Well after waiting for 2 hours the guy cam in and told me he couldn't find a leak so he put the tire back on. I told him there was a razor blade in it this morning and I refused to leave until my tire was fixed. The mgr ended up replacing the tire and sent me on my way. I also had someone get rude to me at Sears over fix-a-flat. We told the girl checking our car in about it and she didn't write it down. When we went to pick up the car the man told us "Next time you need to let us know when there is fix-a-flat in the tire." We replied "we did. Talk to the girl over there." I am normaly a nice person but I will get rude back.

I have no problams using a discount. Its no different then buying something on sale.

We do one color (usually blue near the trunk and white on the edge. Then we have blue, sliver and, frosted glass ornamints. We do white on the house and milti in the yard outside.

Whats the name of this book. It sounds right up my ally. I am intrested in the orgins of popular songs. "Mary did you know" is one of my fav. Christmas songs.

6th Hummer (whatever that means) was in the middle of the toy section priced $99.99. I put it on lay-a-way and it rang up for $79.99. I do not kow what "6th" means but thay are big. I think DH will like it and now I do not have to do the lay-a-way line on BF.

Not a holiday book but my kids love "The Monster At The End Of This Book." Its about Grover freaking out that there is a monster at the end of the book and he tries everything he can think of to keep you from turning the page. (The monster ends up being him.)
