  1. I've also seen Target stuff at Rugged Warehouse. I think it also depends on where your Target is located. My Super Target is right across the street from Goodwill and their stuff goes over there. They don't keep clearance around very long IMHO. My other Target keeps stuff way longer - it's not a Super Target.
  2. not to take credit for something I didn't look up .. but here you go
  3. This is why I wish I had the Target 800 on my cell phone speed dial. When I hear something so stupid like that, I'd be pulling out my phone and saying "hey - let's hear what your corporate office has to say about this!" I know one time I went over to customer service and asked for the number for Target customer service and I was politely told there wasn't one. I almost blew a gasket on that one.
  4. Whenever they do a 1/2 price sale, about a month later they will do another sale. This is discounted even more, but only includes the items that didn't sell at the last sale. The second sale is usually cheaper in price, but more picked over. For best results, visit the 1st set of sale dates.
  5. You might be able to sign up as a preferred shopper at whatever outlet they are located in, which has coupons at some of the stores in the complex. Good luck!
  6. I guess it varies on where you shop. My warehouse is extremely organized and very clean. No big bins, but they had tables with boxes of the books. Not all of the titles were old, some were just overruns.
  7. I love going the last day of the sale. Everything was one dollar. Not much left, but worth the drive.
  8. If an item is on sale (temporary markdown) within 14 days of your purchase, Target will do a price adjust. If the item goes on clearance, then they will not price adjust. I haven't used my coupon yet - guess I should go this week!
  9. And if you don't have the money to buy Wario .. rent it .. OMG it is loads of fun!
  10. I saw them on clearance at Target the other day for $4.98 I think
  11. Well I signed up a long time ago before they had the Bzz thing and I stopped getting emails from them. I signed up with the Bzz thing and I still don't get my emails. Thanks for this one!
  12. nope .. but if you go to the actual venue and purchase tickets, you avoid the knife in the back that ticketmaster stabs you with!
  13. Watch the Circuit City ads .. last week they had Rayman for $29.xx. They have put several other titles on sale as well. Thing is, you have to be there the day the sale starts as they will sell out really quickly and CC does not do rainchecks. They have been the only store to actually discount Wii games to date that I am aware of. I had bought Rayman right before the holidays and I went in and got a price adjustment.
  14. You guys that are finding the game tables marked way down are lucky. My Target only has them right now at 30% off.
  15. The next time that happens to you, call the manufacturer and let them know what happened. They will normally send you what you are missing for free. I know you hate that I told you that now, huh? Sorry.
  16. This was a great deal for me too as I had a coupon for a free box of Honey bunches of Oats so I got 2 boxes for free!
  17. If you see these 2 alarm clocks on the end caps .. keep on walking .. they are pieces of crap and not worth the 9.xx they are clearanced for .. both of mine are being returned tonight. here's a link so you can see what I'm talking about. http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-20/qid=1169749681/ref=sr_1_20/602-7262918-0547823?ie=UTF8&asin=B000JQRBR0 I can't find a link to the other one - but it is a cylinder with the light that gradually comes on when the alarm is fixing to go off.
  18. The one plus thing to go with a fundraiser candy bar is that they sometimes have coupons on the wrapper, making the candy bar actually pay for itself. Sometimes it's with Pizza Hut or another company.
  19. From their website
  20. I hit the jackpot last night at Kmart .. I never would have gone if I hadn't read this thread. I scored one of those HUGE blowups .. it seems to be bigger than 7 feet though. It must have been a display cause it wasn't in its box. I asked the customer service agent how much it was and she said she thought it was $19/20. I had to go and pick up my kids so I told her I'd be back later. So when I went back to pick it up she was asking the manager how to ring it up. The mgr told her to give it to me for $10 to get it out of the store. Yipee!!! It retailed for over $200.00 before the holidays. My kids were so excited when I brought it home. I also picked up some soap dispensers for 49 cents; tea light holders for 89 cents, placemats for 19 cents. It was a great day at Kmart
  21. Try here .. they mostly just charge the retail price, if any markup it is very little. reasonable shipping rates IMHO http://www.ornament-shop.com/ They show 2006 All is Calm in stock for 22.00.
  22. On Walgreens coupons, there is normally a limit and it says it right on the coupon. Usually its 4 or 6.
  23. If you purchased it and didn't like the fragrance, it is easy to return the item to the store.
  24. Thanks! This sale started the 1st of January. They will also run another one around the first part of July.
  25. My DD loved the Franny K. Stein series by Jim Benton (creator of Happy Bunny). The series is geared for 7-12 year olds. Very cute and funny!
