I picked up the A Christmas Story Monopoly game yesterday at Borders for 1/2 off. Granted it was a good deal at 50% off - but it was still $17.99. Yikes - but so worth it - I love this movie!

Exactly .. even though the coupons in the EasySaver catalogs say "not valid with any other offer" and their sale ads have been showing those savings with a note that says "save more with manufacturer's coupons in this Sunday's paper". So I was happy to see that.

Pepsi is about to start a program that will give you music downloads as a reward for drinking Pepsi. I don't have the details at work - but someone here probably can fill you in on that. You can also check around at Circuit City or Best Buy for someone giving a free trial. I didn't like emusic - fyi - nothing mainstream. But you can probably pick up a Napster free trial at Best Buy. But if you have your own CDs, you can just put those on your MP3 player - that's what I did.

I found some good deals with shampoo. Combined with the coupons in the past few Sundays' papers, I spend $3.xx and got 8 bottles of shampoo! Dove shampoo $3.00 / $2.00 coupon Sunsilk $2.00 / $1.50 coupon Garnier $2.00 / $1.50 Walgreen coupon / plus buy one get one 1/2 off Sweet deals! But watch the Sunsilk. They are changing the bottle style, but the UPC code is the same. The sticker said $2.00 but it rang up $4.99. They were also clearancing out one of the Venus razor refills. It was a box of 8 marked down to $10.xx, using the $4 coupon in the paper makes it not a bad deal - normal price was $20.xx. I now have enough razors and shampoo to last the entire year!

RiteAid is a stickler on the script cards. The scripts have to be a transfer. If you have new scripts you can't use the coupon.

Target will not price adjust clearance items. If I see it on the sales floor cheaper than what I paid for it, I'll rebuy it and return the higher priced item.

this makes me laugh. we've coined a new word at our house Wiijury DD16 is currently sporting an arm wrapped in an Ace bandage from her Wiijury. She was playing Pirates of the Caribbean and her poor arm was so tired after doing all that sword battling. I'm returning the sports pack that I picked up for the remotes. Unless you have a huge area that you can play in, the possibility that one will smack the other is extremely high.

Call Customer Service and let them know what happened. Target CS won't know there is a problem with those xkjlkd things unless the consumer calls them and tells them. Every time I get one of those I call and tell them how much I HATE them. They'll keep sending them unless people call and say how much they hate them.

The gift sets were pretty picked over last night at my Target. I was able to get the Ladies Quattro set for $7.99. It had the razor & blade, 4 pack of replacements blades and a spa set.

FYI .. the Kraft coupons work on Kraft Philly Cream Cheese. They are on sale this week for $1.00 and with the 75 cents off coupon from the Target coupon generator, takes them down to 25cent - less if you have a mfrg coupon. I picked up the Quattro Razor gift box for woment last night .. on sale for $7.99 plus I used the $4.00 mfrg coupon that was in the paper a few weeks back. I was able to use a razor refill coupon on one of the sets. So for $3.99, I got the razor with a blade, a box of 4 cartridges and a spa set. I also picked up the Apple & cinnamon Glade oil and holder for $1.14.

Just wanted to say .. we went last night and again it was incredible. DD16 kicked herself for not bringing her cell phone to snap some pics .. can't wait until next year! LOL - the band even gave the impression that they'll believe the new release when they see it in the stores.

The Gooey Butter cake is TO DIE FOR. I had it at her restaurant in Savannah .. yummy!!!
