Don't forget that CVS will give you a raincheck if they are sold out of an item that they normally carry. I had a hard time getting rainchecks on some of the seasonal items (gifts) that had ECBs on them because the store didn't know if they would get in any more. And CVS rain checks never expire!

I love all the free stuff (ecbs and reg rewards) that CVS and Walgreens have! Oh and midnite madness at the outlet mall.

at least they give you about a month. Register rewards from WAGs are only good for 2 weeks. I always ask the cashier when I check out if I have old ECBs .. sometimes they will take them if they aren't that old.

you'll probably use it less than 10 times before she either gets tired of it or you get tired of spending the money for the food kits. They can be dangerous for young kids as that lightbulb gets HOT! The recommended age is 8 years old. I know you can use normal sized baking mixes - but my kid would have nothing of that. It had to be an Easy Bake kit or she didn't want to make it.

Sometimes you can find candy at 50% off - it just is normally not in a bag but a storage type container.

I know it's off topic - but do you have a timer feature on your oven? I would assemble meals and freeze them. I would let them defrost all day in the oven and it would be ready when I got home from work. I'd buy whatever they use on Top Chef .. those get a workout!

The outlet malls may be ghost towns at 4 or 5 am - but I go for the real deals - the ones that let you take extra money off clearance items like Banana Republic, Yankee Candle Outlet - stores that let you take 50% or more off anything in the entire store.

I normally shop at KMart on Thanksgiving morning - but my local KMart will be gone by then (if they haven't already closed). It has been my tradition to buy new pillows for everyone on turkey day! Then head out around 9pm to our outlet mall. They had some stores open at 10pm last year (instead of midnight) so I'm not sure what the plan is. Don't really plan on spending alot is my gift to my kids is a trip to Disney/Universal and we leave Christmas morning!

I would think they would have to just to keep the people happy who paid the $149 for it originally. You can buy one outright, but the price is back up to the original $599.00 price. They have a huge disclaimer up now that if you return the computer and don't return the tablet, you won't get all of your money back on the computer as the tablet price will revert back to $599.

Why don't they just give out tickets? I can't see this happening at Target and going over very well. A new group every 20 to 30 seconds? Really? You think that's going to keep people from running inside the store? I hate how Target has their store layed out. You could stand in line for 12 hours and end up getting 1 thing on your list. So do you want the TV or the $3 appliances? lol

I signed up as an Elf. I am to the point that I do not need anything and I have more fun giving and shopping than getting .. so I told Eve to please put me down as an Elf. I did that for the summer exchange as well and was so excited I got used! I had a blast putting together my package. And not everyone has control over their personal situations. So don't think that someone just flaked out and didn't send a gift. It can happen to anyone.

exactly my point riven3d ... Target's add isn't valid just on Black Friday .. but it is also valid on Saturday .. so you should be able to use the guarantee for Target's add - which normally comes out a few weeks before Black Friday. An I read it that they will do their Christmas Price Guarantee on any Black Friday ad - like Best Buy, Sears, JCP, etc that is for sales on Black Friday only. It says nothing about not price matching other stores' adds on BF.
