I usually bring $500 in cash with me and my Macy's card. So far I haven't had any problems with bringing cash but starting to question myself on this.

I fill a stocking for my kids, and my mom has one for them too. We go to my parent's house on Christmas eve and they get their stocking from her first thing. It kind of makes dinner more enjoyable while they wait for their presents.

I LOVE Christmas music!! I could listen to it all year long, but I don't. Every year there is a festival here in Oct. and I usually buy 2 new Christmas CD's. I have been listening to those already.

5 years ago my husband was working night shift and wouldn't get home until 6am, at the time our oldest son was 5. I had my 18yr old brother spend the night with me so I could leave at 3am with my friend. My son would be asleep and my dh would be home not too long after I left. Before I went to bed I counted my money, I had $300. Before I left to shop I counted it again, that time I only had $250. Yes, my brother stole $50 from me. It really hurt me at the time because that $ was for my ds, and I was also 8 months pregnant. Kind of low. Luckily, my parent's lived next door, so they came over to help with the "situation". Mom watched my son until my dh came home and my dad gave $50, because they felt so bad for me. We kind of have an idea why brother stole, makes it even worse! Anyway, all is forgiven, but by far the worst BF for me!

It seems like Ace Hardware usually has bikes on sale. My friend got her 6 year old son a Huffy bike from there last BF. Good luck!

My husband just returned from a trip to Canada, he bought our son an X-Box 360 bundle at Wal-Mart there for $177. It's the arcade edition and it came with Lego Indiana Jones. So, maybe there will be deals like that here soon.

I want to get my 16 month old DD an interactive animal but there are so many to choose from. Does anyone recommend one over another? Fur Real Friends, Alive Cubs, Puppy Grows and Knows Your Name, Paw Pals, Barbie Care and Cure, Snuggle Kins..... I'm sure any of these would be ok, just wondering what other little ones prefer? TIA

I also have a cut off date, mostly for my oldest son. He is very indecisive, and can't make up his mind between X-Box 360, PS3, or a PSP. I gave him until BF then after that no more changes will be allowed.

For the past couple of years in October Toys R Us had a sell on video games B2G1 and a sell on Little Tikes B1G1. I can't wait for this sell, I think it is usually the second week of October? Does anyone else remember this?

I had a coupon booklet that Babies R Us passes out at the cash register. Inside were two $5 off $25 and some coupons on diapers, and formula. Today I got another booklet of coupons that have two 20% of any item coupons along with the diaper and formula coupons.

I got 2 Mickey's Storybook Surprises movies, and for my free movie I got Barney's Animal ABC's. I used both $6 off coupons. Then I also used a $5 off $25 coupon so for $21.14 I got 3 movies and a Disney sippy cup!:)

My ds5 wants a Smart Cycle too, but I'm not sure how much he would actually play with it. It seems kind of expensive. Maybe it will go on sale for black friday?

Anyone hear what Toys r Us might be putting on sale? Last year was a let down, an associate told me this year was supposed to be better. I hope so.:)
