What about a woodburning stove/fireplace? I thought that they were great to heat an entire floor of a house.

I bought something in the Peacock pattern at Marshall's, but I can't remember exactly what it is! It looks like a very large travel/cosmetic bag. Some of the prices on the cosmetic zipper bags were higher than the prices at ebags.com.

Home Depot does NOT accept gift cards on-line!
nat1jen replied to nat1jen's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Here is an email that I got from Home Depot customer service today: Dear Customer, Thank you for your email to The Home Depot Online Customer Support. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. The opinions of our customers are taken seriously and used in the overall evaluation of the services we provide. As per The Home Depot policy, gift cards can not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, check or credit. Hence, we do not accept gift cards as a mode of payment for online purchase. However, we are working to have this facility available to our customers in the near future. In addition, you may use this Gift Card toward all in-store purchases at any The Home Depot store, EXPO Design Center, or The Home Depot Supply (SM) store. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Sincerely, Soumya Your friends at The Home Depot. -

Will they let me re-buy the item if I take it back. Many stores will not allow this to happen. -

That is a great idea, but unfortunately, you have to pay for the items before they will ship them. Thanks for trying. -
Home Depot does NOT accept gift cards on-line!

The problem is that they don't have the chandelier in the store that they have on-line. Bummer! -
I just learned a hard lesson. I had $350 worth of light fixtures that I found on-line at Home Depot. I then went to Kroger to buy gift cards because 4% goes back to non-profit entities. I assumed that Home Depot accepted gift cards on-line because they sell the gift cards on-line. They do NOT take gift cards as payment. I am just floored. I do extensive shopping on-line, and I have never come across a major retailer that does not accept gift cards. Some retailers may limit the number of gift cards that you can use, but you can still use the gift cards. I called customer service and was told that they can't do anything. It is not an acceptable form of payment. Why do they sell the cards on-line but refuse to accept payment on-line? I am just baffled. Lowe's now has my business. I am done with Home Depot.

Extreme Arcade Home Arcade $599.98 Sears.com

Oh, that is a bummer. I wouldn't be happy. Sears must have issues with their ordering system if they suddenly figured out AFTER you paid that the item wasn't available. -

I ordered mine on Tuesday, and it has already been shipped to the store (no charge for shipping). Now, I just need the girls' dad to pick it up. Looks like mine took 3 days too. That's really quick shipping. -
Wish that we had a Meijer.

I finally caved at such a great price. This will be a great gift for Christmas. I ended up buying Sears gift cards at Kroger through my Kroger gift card. 4% of the face amount of the gift cards will go to pay for DD's soccer fees. Then, I went through ebates to save 2% and also used the $5 off coupon. Zooskoo, have you liked the arcade? It's not a good deal if my kids won't use the thing! -

Best Buy and Circuit City computer bundles
nat1jen replied to magicalorange's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I just bought a computer bundle at BB. I wasn't going to get the monitor, but it was only $100 more and it included a printer. My girls use the printer, and I love the new monitor. I'm glad that I spent the extra money. -
I pre-ordered Wii Fit and got it either on the release date or the day after through Amazon. You can't beat the free shipping and no sales tax.

Our Snowglobe Sale is Here - Shop Now! Disney
nat1jen replied to vsa3janes's topic in Online Hot Deals
My DD's usually get one to 2 snowglobes a year at Christmas and birthday if I find them on sale. The girls are getting older, but they still expect their snowglobes. They really are pretty. Thanks, OP, for posting the link for the sale. :) I placed an order for birthdays and Christmas.
