Do you have any consignment stores nearby? We have several that carry designer clothes and accessories.

I have heard that LCD's have a much longer life than plasmas. But, I don't know if that's fact or just a way to sell LCD tv's.

Still chuckling about the PID. My screen shows a bear, but I am forced to pick a size 46 or 50 something. That's one big bear.

I just had mine done at Portrait Innovations. They had a $9.95 special. Of course I ordered extra, but they are great gifts. Their prices are cheap, and all my pics were ready in an hour!

Sorry that you had a bad experience. I only needed one price adjustment for a dvd, and I got one with no problems. I also luckily found all the items that I wanted on Friday night. Did you ever talk to the manager again?

Just be careful with some of Kohl's pricing. Their original prices are so high that even at 50% off the price may be higher than Target. For instance, my girls saw the 20 Questions hand held game at 50% off for 9.99 at Kohl's. They REALLY wanted those games. We went to Target and Target's original price is $9.99, and then they went on sale at Target for $6.99. Kohl's sometimes makes you THINK that you are getting a great deal when in fact you aren't. I found the same thing true with their dvd's that were on sale. I do think some of their items are a good deal, but just watch the original pricing!

I was lucky enough to hit the 90% off Halloween stuff right when Target opened. I bought way too much candy corn! Someone had 3 shopping carts full of costumes. I guess they'll be listing them on ebay next year. I just discovered this thread and will definitely be referring to it in the future. I love Target. I just wish that they would pricematch. I even get a lot of my grocery items and snacks at Target!:)

I saw a report on either Fox or CNN last night that internet sales are up by something like 70% and that the retail store sales were flat. They are expecting the best online shopping sales to be on Monday when everyone is back at work. They think that people will order their Christmas presents on-line at the office. Hollyberry, sorry that you waited in line and got up so early for nothing! That would really tick me off. I went to our local Target at about 5:30 PM, and I was able to find everything that I wanted from the sales circular--toys, games, dvds, cd's,clothing, etc. They had several dvd's for $5.88, and several choices of TV show seasons for $17.88.The employees were continually re-stocking the shelves. I just wish that Target would price match like Wal-Mart. But, I despise Wal Mart. I figure that in the long run I end up saving my time and gas by shopping Target.

Do you have a Sear's scratch and dent store/outlet store? You can get great deals on appliances and electronics. Our refrigerator had a small dent on the side that is up against our stove. You can't even see the dent.

You have a legitimate complaint. The manager could have handled it more fairly. If you were there first, then you should have had the right to buy the electronics item before the people in back of you. Why in the world would he have split the line like that? It makes no sense. Sorry that you had a bad experience. I don't like Wal Mart because they always treat the customer like we are the lucky ones to shop there. I don't like that kind of customer service.

I love Costco. It's my favorite place to shop. I love being able to complete rebate forms online, etc. I ended up getting a Kitchenaid red Blender for $34.99 after coupon and rebates (usually retails for $99). They also have a lifetime warranty on all products EXCEPT computers. As long as you have your receipt, they will give you your money back. Their customer service is awesome, much better than Sam's IMHO.
