  1. #2 has been answered and I'm not positive on #1 but I would guess that it wouldn't work with different brands.
  2. Fashion Bug!
  3. I was wondering if everyone's Best Buy did this on BF. Last year, we had employees come out about 30 minutes before opening and hand out printed out store maps with different paths to take to different items. There was a blue path, red path etc. etc. all leading to different things. You were supposed to follow the path to get to items you want. Funny thing was, the really cheap MP3 players were right in front of the exit door and you were supposed to follow this looping path through the store to get them. Needless to say...that whole idea crashed and burned the second people got into the store. I was just curious as to whether or not this is done widely at Best Buy or if it was just a local thing.
  4. Not bad...I'd say Best Buy beats it though.
  5. I'll stick around
  6. Yeah...I tried to put a link to the rules but they just pop up in a tiny little window that doesn't have a URL. If you wanna read em, go to Bestbuy.com and search for Best Buy Bucks. The second hit is terms and conditions.
  7. I'll be at BB at 9:30 PM on Thanksgiving. Have friends with me though and we'll be playing cards etc. etc. so it won't be too bad...just REALLY cold.
  8. I just talked to Best Buy Corporate...they called the store I went to and said that they have to accept the rules issued on BestBuy.com Thanks Mark for the info. Now, I should be set to go again on BF.
  9. So the BF ad is coming out Sunday this year...not Thankgiving?
  10. That's true. Media purchases are limited to only $3 per.
  11. It's 11:55 AM so I'm assuming I'll be at home already done shopping. Either that or at Wal-Mart waiting to check-out cuz we'll be going there last.
  12. I haven't seen them anywhere
  13. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp;jsessionid=RIMWOZGLJTBVRKC4D3IVAGI?id=cat12085&type=page&sc=ALL&qs=best+buy+bucks&cp=1&sp=Relevance&mipp=25&uq=best+buy+bucks&_requestid=49693 Terms and conditions are on there
  14. they should be able to.
  15. Yep...I'm in Indiana. Thanks for the info.
  16. I recently bought like $100 worth of Best Buy Bucks from EBay. However, after purchasing something at Best Buy, I was told that you are only allowed to use $20 Best Buy Bucks per transaction. I went to their website and it said you can use up to $300 in a day and on non-media items (DVD, CDs etc.) you can use up to $300 as long as it doesn't exceed the price prior to tax. Has anyone here used more than 20 BBB on a single item or heard anything about the problem I'm having?
  17. Ebay DOESN'T allow it. People that do those mystery gift cards always put something like "you are bidding on the envelope itself. However, as a gift, I will add in a mystery gift card to (insert place)". Obviously, people are bidding for the gift card but it's a loophole through EBay's policy. I've bought gift cards off of EBay before especially Best Buy Bucks since that where I'll be doing my BF shopping. I'm also selling a $10 KB Toys gift card on EBay. I got it for free and there isn't a KB Toys anywhere near where I live. I started the bidding at 5 bucks and got a bid so I'm happy. That's my reasoning, it'd be a waste to drive 40 miles to the nearest KB Toys for a $10 gift card when I can get $5 in cash for it.
  18. Overall, last year was better but Best Buy has been my favorite so far this year. Then again, I'm gettin the laptop and the desktop so...
  19. Haven't heard of any sales yet
  20. I doubt it will have any effect whatsoever.
  21. Being a poor college student, I find it is well worth the wait. The only kink in the plans this year is camping for Xbox 360 (also for resale) the same week as BF....I'm gonna be pretty tired on Saturday.
  22. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk here...but me personally, I wouldn't take the time. I have to much stuff that I want (I love being selfish sometimes) and the store employees are there for a reason.
  23. Overwhelmed? Nah..I'm ready to camp out at Best Buy for 9 1/2 hours and get what I'm going for since almost everything I want will more than likely be a ticket item. That's the advantage when you're buying for resale value and not gifts though, the only planning I have to do is EBay price comparisons.
