  1. Yeah...I didn't have any problem getting answers from anywhere here except at Target.
  2. I've heard the non-doorbusters will be on sale at bestbuy.com but the doorbusters won't be.
  3. Working at a Sam's Club...we got ours in last week. I find it VERY hard to believe that your Wal-Mart doesn't have theirs yet
  4. Same here...those links all take me to a completely irrelevant picture
  5. Can you say TROLL?!?! I guess that's a no though...
  6. I've called every store in my area and here is what I got Wal-Mart : 48 consoles Meijer : 10 Target : 20 Sams Club : 20 Best Buy : 34 Other places are sold out from presale. Seems to me demand is gonna exceed supply here.
  7. 10 PM...better safe than sorry
  8. No no no...we will ALL be getting there at 9:30 PM. Nobody will be holding anyone's place in line.
  9. No sense arguing...I'll just move along to someone else.
  10. I don't think they have that because of the fact that the ads themselves don't list all the DVD's they have on sale. Only a couple
  11. I'm not a card holder or a rewards zone member but I got one.
  12. I suppose if you buy the cheapest available..
  13. Michigan.......nah, I'm in Indiana actually
  14. That's taking things a little to far. If you want your items...get there first and have a plan of getting to it. If you're there in the front of the line and you know the store layout, there is no reason you shouldn't get the first item you're after.
  15. I wouldn't be so sure about that. There were a couple people that sold a particular ticket last year at the same Best Buy I'm going to this time around. The actual plan isn't to walk up and down the line screaming "Ticket for $20, ticket for $20". I plan more to stand in the section where the item would normally be sold. The people that don't have a ticket or may not even know about the tickets will be there looking for it. I'll point out that I have a ticket that I might not be using. Let the offers come in from that point.
  16. The Best Buy Desktop and Laptop both have good resale value. That's what I'm going for...also selling the tickets but you can read the BF bartering thread for that discussion
  17. You say greedy...I say capitalistic. Is it greedy when stores mark-up their items after buying them from a warehouse? Is it greedy when you see a good deal on something and then go sell it on EBay? If not...I fail to see the difference. I could just as easily buy the ticket items I have and sell them on EBay for even more money than I'd get by selling the tickets.
  18. I don't know what you're considering "most" but I happen to know people at 2 of the Best Buy locations in Indiana and neither of them are getting more than 40.....
  19. What if someone is selling the tickets for their grandmother who is going in for cancer treatments/chemotherapy and they need the money to help pay for it? Who's to say that it's being greedy? I'm not trying to say that I'm doing it for those reasons but perhaps the only reason I'm spending the time to do it is for money that I have a desperate need for. You might want to remove the log from your own eye before worrying about the speck in your neighbors.
  20. And as for that...I think we can handle ourselves
  21. There is no difference between selling the tickets and buying the item then selling it on EBay. I am going out to Best Buy, along with others with the same idea as myself, at 9:30!!!! PM. Look at it this way. That Laptop is going to be $379 and it is regularly $750. You can get it on EBay for $550-$600 range. If I sell my ticket for that Laptop to someone for $30...they are still saving a LOT of money. They are paying me for the time I spent sitting in the 30 degree weather. Don't wanna buy a ticket from me? Get there at 9
